“BUSTED” (Sort of) and A Nice Day!

Hey guys! Andrew here! Hopefully I’ll get to posting more often on my blog now that my parents actually KNOW that I post on my blog daily (which will be explained further into the post), so, I guess this’ll be a daily thing, as long as I have time and the energy/will to do it. So let’s start!

The day started out different from the usual, normal school day. This time, early in the morning, we were leaving to iHop to enjoy some nice pancakes for National Pancake day. My mother had announced this to me yesterday, but the catch was that I had to go to bed around 8 o’clock PM at the time, which I would be normally fine with, but this time, my mom had promised me that I had a perfect amount of time to go do what I pleased after Bible Time (which we did early [around 7 o’clock PM, when I finally settled down from the homework]). So of course I was shocked and perplexed that now all of the sudden we were going to iHop. I decided not to go to iHop or to NOT go to sleep early and just fiddle on my computer, working on my book. Fortunately, and unfortunately, my mother took me anyway and surprised me by waking me up around 6:30ish AM. I struggled to get out of bed and did a bit of complaining, but I got up. Moving out of my bed, putting on my clothes, I was too lazy to do anything. Especially whiten my teeth and brush them. As a result of that, my mom went berserk on us, yelling at us for not moving as fast and saying that she was actually caring for us by taking us early to iHop and then taking us to school. Which was true, but it was too early for me to respond in any extreme way, so I just nodded and whitened my teeth. Once I finished, we lined up to the house garage (oh yeah, forgot to tell you we have a garage [and a basement ]), and entered in the car my mother.

We drove to iHop pretty nice. Hardly any traffic. And since it was only around 7 to 7:30 AM in the morning, we did not have such a huge waiting line.  It did take a few minutes of course and two dark-skinned women nicely dressed but too formally dressed greeted us at the front with a quick announcement of today being National Pancake Day and to donate for some children’s donation center.. whatever. xD I completely zoned out. I was focusing on the pancakes about to be served as we sat in our tables. Once we were taken by our waitress and seated, we waited for about 5-10 minutes for someone to come. Eventually, my mom got impatient and decided to order for ourselves since the others did not really have to go through the trouble of ordering. It was free! In a few minutes after our order had left the table to the kitchens, Sebastian and Sophie including their mother Mrs. Judith had arrived. I was surprised, but somehow was not. It was weird. I, of course, greeted Sebastian with a tease and began conversation until Mrs. Amy and her daughter Ally arrived as well. It was a huge table for all of us. But it fit. The long chairs that laid against the walls were where the children sat, except for Ally, who sat next to her mother, while the grownups sat in the wooden chairs against the tables. We ordered, we ate, we talked (mostly about the funny Super Bowl Commercials), had our fun, then left. It felt so short, but I enjoyed it, and the pancake had satisfied my stomach the greatest! 😀

Once we left, before having an almost 5-10 minute discussion if whether or not my mom could drive Ally and Sebastian to Creekland Middle School with Patricia and I. Unfortunately they couldn’t since their instruments were holding them back and they were supposed to be kept in safe conditions (wonder what kind of instrument they were playing there xD). So, disappointed, we went entered the car, with an impatient mom thinking about how late we were, at least how late Matthew was for Elementary (Annabelle was in the car, but she was sick and only came for pancakes and then had to go back home). So of course, a dilemma had occurred in the matter of a few seconds. My mom started yelling ferociously at Patricia for holding up the line to the car because she wanted to sit in one spot instead of moving and making the “entering into the car” process proceed quicker. I disapproved of both situations. My mom was yelling unnecessarily loud to Patricia, and Patricia was being ridiculous as well. I kept my mouth shut in the situation and just let my mom do her thing and then we drove. She dropped off Matthew to his Elementary and then she dropped Patricia and I off to our Middle School. It was easy. As we entered the car driver drop off room, we saw Sebastian and Ally there; of course. So Patricia and I sat next to her. Sebastian, though, was sitting on the stands with his friend, so I decided not to bother their conversation. Courtney, my P.E. friend, had walked into the car driver drop off room, and I greeted her with a surprised face because this was the first time I had EVER seen her here. Though she looked at me weird and said “Hi”, “Bye” and then left, making Ally question me and have her say that I was being weird. I explained to her many times that Courtney was a good friend of mine, but she disagreed. Well that went well..

Finally when we left to our classes I greeted Jessica (the girl who liked me and I sort of liked back) and talked to her. Of course I did the normal “hug her” and then talk and then once she leaves I “hug her” and we departure to our own activities. I walked her to her class talking with her and then left to the “C” wing. Once I entered the “C” wing hall, I went to go order some breakfast and afterwards went to my homeroom class. I went to my locker and for the first time I unlocked my locker in one try. I knew how to do it, I just constantly messed up. Not that this was a huge thing, though, that I got the locker combination in one try, but it was nice and I thought I was slick for a few minutes until I went to my seat and we began looking at our test grades for Georgia Studies. After the whole process, I got an 80%. Honestly I probably would have gotten a 89% if some of the problems weren’t removed from the test (there were supposed to be originally 50 questions, but some questions got removed all the way till all was left were 35 questions), but then again, what the heck. I missed 7 questions out of 35 questions. Hopefully, my mom doesn’t read this part. 😛

I moved to Language Arts class, once Georgia Studies class ended, and had to take out my ‘Bellringer’ book for another review test of the vocabulary words we had to last week. I got a simple 100%, like last time. I was so boss at vocabulary. At least for this week. Then we had to do a review on the book “The Giver” we were reading. Surprising enough, we didn’t continue the chapters, but instead did a review from chapters 1-12 and did some vocabulary. I got a simple 92% grade because I missed two questions out of 25 questions. I am still disappointed, though, because I expected 100% or at least 95% or above. After that was done we left to our next class: Math. Another substitute teacher took place named Mr. Wiseman. It was male… Oh mah gosh! :O Nah, I’m just kidding. But he was nice and was not so intruding. Though, whenever he talked you could barely hear him. He wasn’t such a loud person, and whenever he caught people in class with cell phones he just smiled and walked away and then we tried to get serious and say for those who were STILL on the first page of the assignment (which a few had inherited) nobody listened and he even shooed himself back to the desk. Surprisingly enough, I was watched this and had my first experience with an actual good teacher. I joked with Andrew Peterson (the Andrew P I was talking about last post) and Manuel at the table so much and then the conversation had switched to Black Ops II Zombies. They began to bet each other on challenges to do, when all I did was listen and fit in a few more comments since I had watched the game being played, though I never played it.

We moved to lunch, enjoyed eating my food actually, and then our Principal had made an appearance in the lunch Cafeteria, announcing the best he could on the horribly amplified microphone about Creekland’s basketball team that won and the whole lunch Cafeteria went WILD. First time I used “bold”. xD Anyway, so yeah, they went berserk, and some other people were acting petulant and complaining that “nobody cared what the principal has to say, let us eat!”. I just ignored and continued eating while sitting next to Andrew, Manuel, and one of there other friends. It was funny. We made plenty of racist jokes that I dare not speak of here or else I would get in major trouble. But we had our fun. Emily, from Health class (wow, haven’t mentioned her O.o) saw me in the lunch tables (because our Math substitute teacher was taking a bit longer to eat his food, so I got to see a lot more classes leave and different classes come in) and sat next to me and said “HI” randomly. I smiled and then she moved to her own actual seat. Another friend of mine, who was actually from P.E. came past me and I did the usual greetings “Scrub” and he’d call me “Scrub” and then we’d delve into conversation, thought this wasn’t the case for the talking. I just called him “Scrub” and then he laughed and then we had to leave. I did my normal walk with Vanessa, her kissing her boyfriend, and then surprisingly I did NOT see Jessica at the lunch tables we usually passed. I was disappointed. 😦

Once we returned to our classes I managed to do 95% of the classwork, except for one page. But we did not need to do the classwork so I did not worry. Once Math class was finally over, I moved to Science. We took our actual Science test which, fingers crossed, I get a good grade on, or else I’m gonna die! Once we finished I left to homeroom class to finish off all the periods. Unfortunately, as my homeroom group was waiting outside the class because everyone inside the class was still looking attentively. Then while we were looking a girl in front of me called “Mary” looked at me and asked:

“Why do you smile all the time?” She said it seriously.

I answered, “I don’t know, I guess I just can.”

Then after the question had been answered I started thinking to myself, do I really smile all the time? I thought I was always emotionless or average looking, but before I could delve into my thoughts the class inside finished by an obvious stand up and putting stuff away in their backpacks. Mary pulled the door open impatiently, not allowing the students from the class to leave and instead just entering on will. I went to my locker but then realized I did not really have to go to it and then a guy who I knew opened his locker next to mines and said it was okay if I dropped my books into his locker, but then I denied. Though ironically, I realized 2 seconds after that I could drop my math book off to take some weight off, but then he closed his locker, so that was it. The class did its usual waiting and then we left to our connections. I went to P.E., greeted my friend with calling him “Scrub” he returned the favor, we dressed out in the locker rooms, then we began the actual P.E. with a test on Hockey, which we played all last week and this week. Turning it in, I felt nervous and did my best. Once we finished we did our usual warm-ups instructed by Coach Glousher. Can’t spell his name. D; Anyway, he gave us warm-ups, then we moved onto our sport for today and we played Texas Battle Ball. This time was special because I caught more balls and had knocked down two of the enemy teams’ goal balls and got two points. P.E. was victorious. 🙂

Then once P.E. finished up I left extra early after I dressed out and waited at the upper gym (I did P.E. in the lower gym) for Jessica and then once she came up to me I hugged her, her friend asked how we knew each other and then answered and then surprisingly my friend Andrew from church, like, long time ago in 2011 came up to me and was surprised to see that I was with Jessica and that she liked me and I liked her. It was a nice transition from P.E. to Health. Once I entered Health class I wrote my Bellringer, then the teacher announced that we were going to do the test. I did not have any notes for the class because I was absent and sick, so I copied off the side of my friend Shahnil. His handwriting was baad! xD Mrs. Heil noticed me doing this and asked if I was here on the day they gave the notes prior to the test, and I said no, so she sent me in the back with three others of whom I knew: Ethan, Alben (can’t spell his name properly either), and some other dude, and gave us other sheets of paper from others who actually took the notes so we could copy of them. We did not have to take the test which was relieving. Then eventually when Health class ended I left to the buses. We drove home happily and I had my fun. I’m sorry, I’m trying to summarize as much, I have to leave soon. 😛

Once I came home, after doing my usual talk with Sarah on the way to our houses (she lived in the house next to me, so we were literally neighbors), I got in trouble with my parents. They interrogated me and asked if I was using my blog privately without their acknowledgement I was doing so. I got in trouble when the truth eventually came out. I got punished, and then I studied. Don’t worry guys, she did not beat me. She just spanked me.. xD I knew it was for fun and she did not mean it to really hurt me, but at the same time it did hurt and she was trying to punish me for lying. Though I’m glad now I don’t have to hide that I’m writing a post. 🙂

The day ended after we did Bible Time and then now I’m writing to you. Wow, this post was longer than the previous one. Dang my days are full of information.. Anyway, have a great time wherever you are! Bye!

Oh and I forgot to add: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLY!

-She probably ain’t reading this xD-

A Pretty Bad Way To Start Off The Week

Hey guys! Andrew here! I thought I tell you about my day, today, this Tuesday. Not sure how long ago this will be posted from this day today, but this is talking about the day Tuesday on February 4th, 2013. Hopefully this won’t be posted next year.

So yeah, I haven’t really talked about life in my school, and since I haven’t for awhile and a lot of new things have come to place there is A LOT to be explained! First of all, I don’t know how to say this, but school is crazy! You probably were not surprised by that statement at all if you are an experienced public schooler, but I’m new, so shut-up! XD Anyway, I’ve made a lot of friends (good ones too) and a lot of judges on a lot of me and already a few people I dislike. First of all, my best friends are Avelyn (from which I meet at P.E. [friggin awesome dude!]), Vanessa (my own little, little, REALLY little version of Mary-Kate! c:), Andrew (who also has a last name that starts with the letter P), Manuel (awesome dude), and of course Savannah. Those are my only TRUE friends who I can really say I “LOVE” hanging out with them. I have plenty of more friends I could easily name, but I prefer best friends now. But relevant names that may come up any time in this post are: Peter, Bridgett, Samantha, Brianna (a frenemy of mine [mostly an enemy]), Danielle, Brian, Michael (no Michael, this is not you [talking to Michael Gjessing]), Corey, Anthony, Jayden, Ethan, Natalie, Rob, Mackenzie, Brian (another one :P), Keila, Noah, Emily, Hayden, etc! I know it’s a lot. 🙂

Anyway so the day started with me being woken up my mother, because I can’t wake up by myself early in the morning, and therefore I got ready to go to school. About 20-30 minutes until the bus was to arrive. I put on some nice clothes on, but not so formal that it was something from church, though it was a nice set. I had decided to put on my P.E. T-shirt so in the locker rooms when I changed with the other guys that I wouldn’t have to unload so much from my backpack and just take off my sweater and put on some gym shorts. So I put on a P.E. T-shirt (which consisted of gray and black colors) and I put on top a nicely designed black sweater. Then I just put some jeans on. Once I had finished dressing up, I went onto whitening my teeth. A trick my sister had figured out by planting raw toothpaste instead of on the brush and on your bare teeth and leaving it there for a few minutes and then brushing it off. At first it’s brutally disgusting and you feel uncomfortable, but then you get used to it, and TRUST ME, the results are amazing! So I did so, actually experienced in whitening my teeth and then waited almost for 5-7 minutes. Once that time had come to past, I went to the bathroom sink, lowered my head so if any of the toothpaste drooled out it would fall into the sink, and started brushing the toothpaste into my teeth. Once that was done, I decided to go downstairs and organize my things.

I organized my backpack and checked if all materials were in and safely in there (for in past experiences I have forgotten a lot of things), and then waited at the front door of my house for the bus. Once the bus had approached the neighborhood and started making its circle around the neighborhood we put on our shoes and left the house. The bus, once it had circled the whole neighborhood, took usually 2-3 minutes and then came to our part of the neighborhood to pick us up. My sister and I gave our kisses to my mom, and then left. Well actually I left, in a hurry. I greeted Erick, a Korean friend of mine (who looked like PSY), and some of the other girls who waited at the last minute with us for the bus and then Patricia came, late, to the bus stop. The bus had nearly left without her.

As usual, the bus was nearly full, just needing to go to another neighborhood to pick up three kids: Adrian (a Romanian just like me), his sister, and another girl, and then we may go to school. The bus was packed but surprisingly it was SO quiet. As I sat next to my friend Fashion (I call him by his last name, Fashion), I recalled it was NEVER this quiet in the bus. Once we both had acknowledged it and I told my friends in the bus including Erick, I decided to enjoy it while it lasted. Then eventually it came to an abrupt end when the bus driver starting asking the 6th graders in the front (where my sister, Patricia) sat a few questions in the bus, and of course a few them failed at the questions, having stirred loud laughs and yells. So yeah, I did enjoy those few minutes of quiet while it lasted. It was nice. 🙂

Once we arrived at the school, left the bus in a single line, I moved to my part of the school where I was normally destined to walk to. I was supposed to enter the school through the side where the other 8th graders were supposed to go if they were in the Inside Lane. I entered the building, having a guide-line member of the school greet me and other 8th graders walking beside me. Another 8th grader, who I couldn’t recall his name, though I knew him from class, walked next to me. I turned to him and gave him the acknowledging nod and he returned the favor. Whence I entered the school actually in the Main Hall, I went directly to the “C” wing which was for standard or honorary classes. Whilst “A” wing for 8th graders were for Probe students (really smart students or students who did great during the Elementary years). I entered, went to the breakfast trolley that was always posted between the hall of our “C” wing halls and took a nice set of breakfast of Fruit Loops, Chocolate Milk, and Orange Juice. I entered my homeroom class/social studies class, seeing already many settled in my seats. Approaching my locker, it took about 2-3 tries for me to open my locker and get my Social Studies book. I still had to get used to unlocking with the codes. As I took the book from my locker, I returned to my usual seat next to Hayden, a very smart student who naturally had a big head. Next to him was Emily. A cheerleader who you’d never expect from looking at her but was exceptionally pretty.

Once we settled into our seats our homeroom teacher assigned us to do our studying before the big “TEST” we had to do today, which I completely went panic mode and started studying. I looked at Hayden and asked him what he was doing because he just sat in his seat and rubbed his eyes or contemplated instead of studying. He replied with coolly with the answer that he was gonna get an “A” anyway. Believing him from recent experiences, I continued studying my courts and juvenile crime information such as: what was a delinquent act between an unruly act and then about the courts like Supreme Courts, Court of Appeals, and Superior Courts, and so on! Our homeroom teacher went on as she usually did, lecturing other students for talking during class (she loved doing it, I believed). Then finally we had the test forms brought to us. 50 questions. Interesting. We started the test and I was off to a good start, but I also had a strategy when I did my tests. I only lightly checked a question and then lightly filled in the blanks so if I needed to change my answer I would not have to struggle erasing what I circled in. A good choice, but it was slow process. I ended up almost being late for my paper while others were already beginning to leave the class after the test was over. So quickly I started filling in the blanks that I had confirmed were correct and turned it. I believe though I might get a good grade, but I could have gotten a better one if I wasn’t as rushed.

I entered into Language Arts class and we continued our book called “The Giver” after we did our Vocabulary review in which I got 100% on. We read about two chapters of ‘The Giver” and Corey continued making mediocre jokes during the class as the Language Arts teacher reviewed through the book every time we finished a chapter. I shall not reveal what we read, because I think it’s best you read it for yourself. 😉

Once Language Arts was over, I was late again because I had to put all my stuff in my backpack and plus since I left late from Social Studies class I did not have time to put the book in my locker, so now I had to carry it around. :/ Once I left Language Arts, I went to Math class. Apparently we had a substitute teacher who really did not care about what we did in class and did not take rules seriously, even if she tried to enforce them herself. We did groups over a quick little Math quiz and I teamed up with Manuel and Andrew and moved out of my seat while Michael (Brian’s friend) sat next to Brian in my seat. Eventually I had to leave the group and move next to Vanessa because Manuel and Andrew were so funny I couldn’t keep my brain straight. As I sat next Vanessa I made some funny jokes and finished a few problems on the math sheet. Then we went to lunch. Surprisingly enough Brianna wasn’t AS mean to me and others who sat in her seat like we expected her to. I had a pretty bad lunch though. I took a meal of milk, green apple, and sub sandwich from the school. Unfortunately I did not expect the sandwich to be THAT bad and it was HORRIBLE. Then on top of that, my green apple fell to the ground and completely got destroyed and inched into the germs of the floor, so I therefore abandoned it. All was left was my milk really. So I got a pretty bad meal..

Then when we left the lunch tables I did my usual routine of walking next to Vanessa and we talked like best friends. Sorry Mary-Kate, but I guess you have competition. xD Just kidding, you’re still my best friend. 😉 Anyway, so we walked around the Cafeteria to the exiting doors back to our classes and did our two usual things. Vanessa greeted her boyfriend, a friend of mine, and kissed each other. Funny enough I noticed how Vanessa kissed him and made tons of fun of her INSTANTLY. I feel so bad now. But it was funny. Lol. Then I went up to my friend Jessica (who had a crush on me) and gave her a hug. She was my best friend (forgot to mention that, lol) and I knew her for 4 years. Once we left lunch we continued Math and I continued making jokes. Then I talked to Danielle, a girl I had a crush on a few weeks ago, but then just lost interest. Then we left. Remorse flew into my stomach and I felt like a thousand butterflies were in my stomach because I did NOT pay attention on the quiz at all. But whatever…

I moved to Science class and did Science. Depressingly enough I went to Science class and the teacher Mr. Dyches gave me my quiz graded from Friday and it was a 60%. Wow. I was perplexed and already rage and sadness filled my brain. 10 questions and I missed 4 of them. Wow. I still am shocked myself. I tried to look at the bright side, but I couldn’t. So I buried my head in books for a little bit and then came back to the world later in class. As we studied over the class and ALMOST did our review our class talked way too much so we couldn’t review unfortunately for the test tomorrow. I left and went to my homeroom to check and put in my Social Studies book in my locker, thankfully! Once the whole group, I left to P.E. and did my things with my friends. I don’t have much more time to write so in short I played Hockey with Avelyn, my best friend, and some of my other friends, had a great time and then left! Then I went to Health class and got troubled with the idea that we already had a test tomorrow on Nutrients which we only studied on for a day. Ugh.. School! D:

I came back home, studied, did Bible time, and now I’m writing to you! So good night! I wrote a lot, I know.. 😛 Good night anyway, have a great time wherever you are and Bye!

I Am Happy :D

Hey guys, Andrew here, bringing you a new post about my day. So let’s get to it!

As you can tell, by the title, I’m pretty happy. Reason being is that .. well let’ me explain further back about the day. Before the day started, which was evening yesterday, the day I wrote you the last post before this post. I said that I was going to probably, finally finish the book “To Kill a Mockingbird”. And I did. I felt so happy for two reasons. One, the ending of the book was great. Love the book. Give it 5 stars. Two, I actually finished this 463 paged book in less than 4 days, which is very surprising due to the fact that I have been lazy. Now I probably AM getting into the swing of my old ways. Reading books and all. Getting amazing grades. I would love to see that old me back. But my happiness had not stopped. Continue reading …

Just as I finished the book it was about 1 AM in the morning and my parents had come upstairs to greet me. I had told them my throat hurt, cause randomly it felt empty and dry and it stung the vocal cord (if I have one) of my throat. My mother handed me a sort of medicine to ooze the night so I wouldn’t be too distracted with the pain. No matter how badly it tasted it, I knew it was gonna be worth it. And worth it, it was. I slept through the night so well, a man could have killed me in my sleep and I would not have noticed it. Once I had woken up from my dreary sleep I still had felt somnolent when my mother woke me up. If you don’t know what somnolent is (I think Mary-Kate does), then let me explain: It means when you’re in a sleepy stage. Drowsy, sort of. My mother had given me 5 more minutes to re-cooperate until the medicine would wear off. Unfortunately that took more than 30 minutes, making me miss my math class. In reality, though, I wasn’t worried. At first I was, but then when I saw it was a review I had calmed. So I decided to work on a few of my subjects.

I had completed my Literature “To Kill a Mockingbird” assignment for yesterday and was acknowledged that I was going to be taking the big test, testing to see if I really comprehended or in other words understood the book very well. So crossed fingers for that! I did a Science lesson today on, I believe, Newton’s Laws of Motion and actually memorized the first law and I believe the second part as well. Let’s see if I remember:

“Newton’s First Law states that an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force.”

And “Newton’s second part of the First Law states that an object in straight-line motion will remained in motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force.”

I am so smart. c:

So I did the lesson and surprisingly as I did the quiz for the lesson I got an exceeding grade of 100% on the lesson. I could of, most likely, gotten an 80% grade because there was this particular question that needed your undivided attention in order to answer correctly. I almost gave up on it cause it took 10 minutes for me to focus on that particular question, but I decided this: If I miss this question, no matter how unsure I am, at least I’ll go down knowing I was comfortable about my decision. And comfortable I was when I received the perfect score of 100%. So far, a lot of happy things were coming in my way. I had attended, after I had finished my subjects, a Physical Science test. God, it felt SO long, I could not believe it. I felt instead of an hour spent, I felt like I was there for three hours. Maybe the teacher wasn’t teaching me right, or maybe I was too lazy. I don’t know, I did NOT care at the moment. I just wanted to get the survey and be done with it. Before, in our school, if you were bored with a class you could leave and claim you attended it. Now we gotta check in with every class on surveys. It ruins my plan…

After that I took a Math lesson and jeez it was hard. It was teaching me how to solve inequality expressions when there are more than one variables on each side of the equation. Of course, my brain could not take it, so I failed, retook it, and passed. God, now when I’m in public school I won’t be able to retake a test. Wonder what I’m gonna do then. :/ Once I finished that lesson I moved on to my Vocabulary and surprisingly enough I easily got a perfect grade of 100% on my quiz. Another amazing thing to be happy about. I’m officially going to categorize this day/post as “Beautiful Life”. Lol.

I took a GML class afterwards and then finished my last few subjects. I had a Unit Assessment test (big test for unit) for Georgia Studies and GUM (Grammar Usage Mechanics). I failed GUM, purposely and redid the test. Surprisingly, again, I did Georgia Studies and actually made 80% grade. Missing a few questions only. Honestly, I thought I was gonna fail, but I guess I did understand the unit a bit! At least I passed it. So I’m happy. After that was accomplished my school was over and I got to relax. Eventually, my parents got into a quick argument in which my mother stormed out of the house (cause she had to meet up with a friend anyway) and left. Once she came back her face was expressionless (which was not a good sign) and she felt drowsy. In result, she took a quick nap. I relaxed a bit, played on the guitar, without the amp of course, and had a chilled time. My day resumed greatly as I never expected. Once she woke up, my mother had the fine feeling of going back to her old days and start cooking cookies, cakes, and special deserts.

She would always do it on Thanksgiving or Christmas, but it had been so long since then, I almost forgot she did it. She made 16 dark, soft, chocolate chip cookies with small marshmallows in them. It was almost a crime she had committed, making us eat dinner before them. She served us a full potato unraveled, some onions and some chicken. A simple but healthy meal. Once we had gulped or chewed our food, my mother offered me two of her AMAZING cookies. God they were so good. Tomorrow I’ll get you pictures of them. But they felt like no other cookie I had eaten before. One of the things I was proud of, from my mother, was her talent in cooking.

After that had taken place, my mother later on was watching a desert show on TLC or something. I don’t remember.. But she did and got inspired with another amazing idea. She warmed up 4-5 popcorn bags and decided to add, I think, some sort of honey or fudge or cream. I can’t remember, but I can. Dang it. Y U NO WORK MEMORY?! But yeah, it tasted nice! Especially while watching the desert show I felt no jealousy. So I think my mother did a nice job. So yeah, now all of the events have led up to here. I shall be leaving, there’s nothing for me to read, which is kind of good and kind of bad. Leave a comment, if you want to, about which book you think I should read. That would be awesome, I’m thinking about re-reading the Eragon book properly since I did a lazy job on that. So yes, see you guys later! Have a great day/night wherever you are! Bye!

Hey guys, Andrew here. I’m sorry I was not able to post anything for the past few days. Reason why: I had first quarter exams (you guys are thinking: OMG, homeschoolers have exams. Yes we do), and plus I was busy with other crazy things in life. Once again, if you have not seen my most recent posts that kind of update you on recent things going on in my life, feel free to scroll below this post and you shall read. In short, only major things going on: I’m moving. I’m trying to learn how to beatbox. And yeah that’s pretty much it.

I’m not going to write a full post about the past few days, cause I still have school to do as we speak. So once I do that, I’ll get around to writing a long post for you guys. 🙂 In short, though, I am finally done. If you don’t know why I am celebrating, it is because I am done with my first quarterly exams. At first when I heard they were already coming up, I thought I was completely screwed. Luckily, though, God had mercy on me and I got decent grades on subjects I thought I was gonna fail. Though of course I did my best grade on ELA/Reading with a percentage of 90% out of 100% because there were 20 questions on the test and I missed two. So yeah, I’m kind of happy about that.

I guess that is all, once again I’ll get around to posting more epic dramas and what not. SO, I will see you guys later. Bye, thanks for reading!

Finished Reading Scantron … Thank God!

Hey guys, Andrew here with another post. I don’t know, but after I post a post, lol,  I feel so into blogging that I want to write another post. So there you go. I finally have a topic to talk about. Rather now, I probably want to do topic talks instead of just blogging about my day. But I do have something that’s happened recently on my mind. Read on ..

If you don’t know what a Scantron is, then I’ll explain. It’s kind of this superficial test we take I think 4 or 2 times a whole year on Math and Reading to test our overall chart of improving throughout the year. I think it’s only for our school, or at least that’s what I think, correct me if I am wrong. So it’s kind of difficult, and I find it frustrating to do. It takes an hour or less at most, but it feels like forever literally and you just want it to be done with.

Recently, though, I had just done a Reading Scantron and finished it. This time, surprisingly, I felt it was easy, and that it was less in an hour finished. The reason why it feels that it takes so long is because they ask a lot of questions out of grade and then put them in a way to see if you’ll understand it properly. So, I guess the reason why I felt so confident and relaxed when I finished or did it, was because Reading lately has been my strongest subject. Literally, last year, I got an almost perfect grade on Reading, just missing it by one question. That’s freaking amazing, I don’t about you, but it is to me.

I do kind of want to be doing this good at all the other subjects, but Math and Science are my weakest subjects. Social Studies I’ve reached at a close limit a perfect grade missing I think two to three questions. ELA (English Language Arts) I missed only 4 to 3 questions. So I think I’m pretty good at school overall, I’m not falling behind on Math or Science, I just have normal average grades on them.

Because of last year’s result, my mother has been forcing me to work harder, which means improve on Math and Science. I have seen myself lately improving a lot. The reason why she wants me to improve, cause I’m already trying to work for a scholarship and also get myself ready and take the PSATs (a preparation for the SATs). Soon enough, I’ll have to take College Classes in High School. I’m already reading the Great Books, which counts as a huge credit count for a good college, which I highly suggest reading. I’ve already gotten to page 10 and my mind is blown. It does count a lot of philosophy though.

So yeah, Reading Scantron is done for now, I hope that Math will be as fast and simple as Reading. Hopefully …

New Mission: Get The Girl

Okay guys, I know I haven’t been posting a lot lately, I’ve been doing it here and there instead of daily posting. Which I really apologize in advance for. I’m just to busy, and in the spare time I don’t feel like posting for some reason. I don’t know, it just feels like I’m too lazy to post something simple you know? Well, anyway, I’m back and about to post to you about today.

I woke up around 8 o’clock exactly (well actually 8:02), and steamed myself some sandwich eggs. My Mom or sister, Patricia set me loafs of bread with peanut butter on top and a cup of Nesquik. It was a decent breakfast except for the loaf of peanut butter bread. Whereas, my far-neighbor, Elijah arrived at my house, he saw the loaf of bread and demanded for it. So, I gave him the bread for my benefit and his too. I wasn’t able to go outside though, even though I promised to almost all of the neighbors I was going to be outside before the bus had arrived for them. I was too busy with my own things.

Eventually, I had a Class Connect Session with my ELA teacher, Ms. Johnson at 10 o’clock AM. We reviewed on some topics we discussed yesterday at class and then learned about adjective phrases (which I’ve already known about). The class went by very quickly and next was my Math teacher’s (my homeroom) Class Connect Session at 11:30 AM. We still reviewed over some basic Math equations. Nothing new. Man, I wish we would already get started on the new things. The past two units we’re reviewing from last year (I probably do need that) and the basics of Pre-Algebra equations. I’m not so thrilled for Geometry though. 😦

After that class was over, I studied over and finished my Social Studies and Life Science. When I finished those I decided to get online Facebook. During that time, I saw Ashley online. Okay, now you may be asking: “Who the heck is Ashley?” and “Why is Ashley so important?”. Well let me explain to you guys how important Ashley is. I mentioned Ashley in the last post I put up. You’ll probably know her from there. But Ashley is important to me, because:

  • 1) I like her a lot.
  • 2) She’s my type.
  • 3) I’m trying to get her to go out with me.

Now those are your reasons. I have a mission with Kerry and Thierry to get her to be my girlfriend. And I know, I know. Your probably thinking “Andrew! You have too many girlfriends!”, “You’re only 12 years old!”, and “You should be ashamed of yourself!”. But I like her and that’s my final decision. Now while I’m on this mission I’m trying to be my best self to impress her. If she reads, then so God help me. Anyway, when I saw Ashley online, we chatted for awhile, expressed each others feelings about life and then eventually got off each other’s chat to study. I began reading my book Anne of Green Gables. I have to read it for school. Woo -sarcasm-.

Eventually when I finished school around 7:40 or 7:50 I went outside, finding no one except for Patricia, Anabelle, and their friends. I’m not going to be other on naming them here. I’ll just call them their friends. Patricia’s friend (you know what I’m talking about) wasn’t there. Woo! -no sarcasm-. I had to get Matthew because Mom hasn’t seen Matthew in like 4 hours. So, after that happened, I found a dollar in my pocket and decided to use it for my brother and I to buy two bags of Spicy Cheetos from Quick.

After that, I went inside chatted with Ashley a bit more and got totally embarrassed in front of her and then went to sleep.

Oh P.S. Flyleaf forever!! 😀 I know random.

A Day Full of School

The whole day was being spent on school. Today we weren’t allowed to go outside because we needed to focus on our school more. So, yeah, I’ll start first with the morning. I woke up earlier then usual since on the weekdays I needed to get used to the feeling of waking up early like I used to  since we had classes starting at 9:00 AM. So, of course, I woke up early in the morning, used my computer for awhile until the neighbors came to our door the 5th time this week, asking if we could come outside. But I was waiting for this moment to arrive. Elijah, our new neighbor, was the one who had rang our doorbell and asked if I could come outside.

I came outside, only because that was before Mom told us that we weren’t allowed to go outside. Savino, our other neighbor you must be familiar with, Elijah, and Noah was there. Eventually, Simon came around and watched with us as Elijah rode down the street on a skateboard and ripstick off a ramp. He managed to land a trick with a skateboard, but failed constantly on the ripstick. Thierry and Brandon came along with Alexis, that’s when we all went up the street until the bus came and I went back inside and attended my classes. I was in ELA class with my teacher, Ginny Johnson, for about 50 mins until I ate breakfast (oatmeal) during class. I’ve actually now gotten used to the taste of oatmeal (since for the past 3 weeks we’ve been eating healthy foods).

I attended a few other classes until I did my homework. I got a k-mail (which is an e-mail in my school) telling me that I’m finally going to be getting Study Island assignments and an essay I’ll have to write down due September 7th. Oh well, the only interesting thing happening this month is the Stone Mountain outing the whole school is having for Northern Georgians. Eventually we had lunch and I passed my Social Studies Unit Assessment with a good 100% score. I finished through Literature and Vocabulary rather easily. It was until 5:46 PM that I finished all of my subjects for today. Pre-Algebra was pretty easy. 😉 We were only studying on the greater than, less than, and equals sequences. I’m just waiting to learn some new things now, since I’ve been learning reviews from last year and some basics.

I want to be challenged. Well, half of my family afterwards did Yoga for about an hour and then that was pretty much it for today. Oh P.S. we have now a new hamster, named Spike (probably I have mentioned) and found a wild parrot, that we’re currently naming Sonic until we find out if it has an owner.
