Great, an Injury!

Hey guys! Andrew here bringing you a new post of my daily life. Apolgies for that. I was busy and turns out, when I was supposed to go to the library, we had a lesson for advisement, which is apparently every Tuesday on the week. So I came late to the library and tried to post something, but I only got about 4 paragraphs down in about 10-15 minutes and then had to go to Lunch. It doesn’t mean that I’ve completely given up on you guys, don’t worry. But the song/video I wanted to present to you guys for today was a song called “Uppers” (a Trap song) from Stooki Sound and Mr Carmack. Two very brilliant Trap artisits that I believe you should go and listen to if you’re interested in listening to some good trap music. This song has amazing and booming bass that will blow you Trap fans away! Enjoy.

So today was pretty simple and organized. For once . . . I asked my Mom yesterday if she could drive me early to the school because I couldn’t walk to school or go to the bus-stop for neighborhood since I had an injury. Oh, and I will explain near the end how I got the injury. Don’t worry. I also needed a ride to my high-school early so I could finish my Mythology PowerPoint project. I did get a ready, but instead from my Dad. I actually am growing quite fond of talking to my Dad. Even though he’s always on my case about my diction and how I need to pronounce my words better (when actually he just can’t admit his hearing is getting worse), I still have great conversations with him in the matter of 10 minutes. I feel like I can tell my Dad anything and he won’t force his opinion on me like my Mom. No doubt that my Mom is easier to talk to, I still feel more relaxed talking to my Dad.

We talked about random stuff on the way to the school until he had to drop me off. Today, I brought my green Cross Country gym bag with a pair of my best shoes in them because a friend of mine at P.E. wanted to rent my shoes for 3 days for $5. It sounded like a perfect idea because he really liked the shoes and I would make a starting profit so I could start my PopTart business. So, having a backpack on my back, and a gym bag on my arm, I walked so confidently, ready to make business. I went to the Media Center library at my high-school and worked on the project, finishing the last touches.

In P.E. the guy I was supposed to meet actually forgot to bring the money, which was a big downfall on my side. Thankfully, I also brought 50 cents with me to pay my overdue book. P.E. wasn’t really fun or interesting. I just made shots and gossiped with some of my gal-friends. God, that sounded gay. It was pretty dreadful to waste my time over there and not do something productive with my 1 hour in P.E..

In Honors Language Arts, we did our Bellwork like usual (this time I actually got 98% of the bellwork correct today. After that we did our SSR Reading. I believe our SSR Reading is one day then the day after the next day, if I’m right or if that makes sense. I’m reading Beyonders or “A World Without Heroes” (never can tell which one is the title since they’re both in big bold text). It’s a really good book to be honest. I’m halfway through the book and I’m reading it really slow, so I could have been done with the book about a week and a half ago. It’s a really good book so far, and the details that are put into the book that describe the setting, mood, etc of the book really amaze me, plus I learn some new vocabulary words. After our SSR Reading, we went to the Media Center Library to work on our Mythology projects. Thankfully I finished it, so now all I could do was check with Coach Dawson (my Language Arts teacher) to see if what I was doing right or wrong and just to proofread and edit. I finished it then turned it in. I think I’m one of the few that finished the project sooner than most.

Biology was confusing today, cause Mrs. Labocetta kept making me try to make assumptions on our directions of the paper, which pisses me off because everyone seems to know what she means and I seem like the stupid one in the whole situation. I’ll always have to work hard and put effort for everything. That’s just me! Though, the only reason why I put up with Biology is because:

#1: I’m patient. More than others.

#2: I like Biology and Sciences.

#3: We’re do a Chemistry lab focusing on the molecules and chemicals formed in a structural method.

#4: I just sound smart saying #3, which makes me feel good about myself.

She then told us that we had to turn in our Mid-Term Reviews based on the sheets that she gave us today, which kind of puts me on my tipping point because it reminds of the review that I finished for the Unit 2 Test and I had it ready to turn in on that day, but I didn’t hear say we had to turn in the study guide anywhere. No indication. Not even an announcement, but yet everyone else knew they had to turn in their Study Guide. I’m gonna get a 0% on it, what the freak! I even explained my story and she said “I don’t accept late study-guides”. Gosh, fml.

Math was making a lot more sense. Mrs. Medina (the Math teacher) reviewed over the homework she gave us yesterday, and thankfully I got the majority of the answers correct. It gave me a confidence booster. When we were finished reviewing over the homework, she gave us the quiz we were supposed to be taking today. It was hard immediately when I looked at the paper, which made me angry. Because every time I’m taking a test or a quiz in Mrs. Medina’s class, the first few questions are nowhere related to what we’ve been studying or they’ve been designed in a format that I find confusing. What the french toast?! I still finished the quiz pretty fast compared to others (wasn’t the first 3 to turn in the test, though). She then gave us a review to do to get ready for the Mid-Term tests coming up this Friday and apparently this Review is gonna be graded. Goshdangit. I hate graded reviews.

The French test was really easy. It was on the 24 hour and 12 hour clock timing and seeing if we could tell what was morning, afternoon, and evening and to first of all tell the time in French. It was very easy, surprisingly. I was one of the first to finish it and could of been the first person to get up from my seat but I bet the others are either brilliantly fast in writing or they don’t write as carefully as I do. I can guarentee I have an A on the test, if not a 100%.

IDT was really interesting and rewarding for me because I got to solve my Scratch problems and finally perfect my Pong game. It looked great and when I created a new Scratch file and programmed the right code with the Pong instructions I named the file “Pong Patch 1.0”. I feel like a smart programmer that I got to create my own visual game through a bunch of code. You probably don’t understand the feeling, but once you get there you’ll understand. 😉

I got to go on the bus back home this time since my Cross Country couch said that I couldn’t go to practice at all with my ankle-brace (still have to explain my injury). It was fun being able to ride the bus and talk to my friends. Sarah was on the bus and so was Markel, as usual, and getting to talk to my friends was very relaxing.

When I got home, I had so much homework. It was unreal. But now I have to explain my injury. Two days ago, when I ran Cross Country and did the Hammer Time pace, I ran too hard on the 1000 meter workout. I had a bad pain on my ankle, which made me unable to run or walk on my cool-down. So instead I went limping the whole cool-down, trying not to complain too much about my pain. When we got back to the building and stretched, I picked up my stuff from the boys locker room and made my way home. Now this was worse for me, because going home and limping was not going to look right for other people passing by me and it would certainly take loger than usual to arrive home. I was 1/4 distance in to getting past Richland Park neighborhood and arriving to my neighborhood, when my Dad passed by with what was apparently my brother, Matthew. I thought they drove by and were gonna drive back and pick me up. So I went back to the start of Richland Park neighborhood and waited for 10 minutes. After that time, I assumed my Dad was not going to arrive and I walked back to where I was previously. I won’t lie, I cursed at my pain, because trying to walk normally back home was a pain. When I arrived home I was liping horribly and my Mom noticed. She took me to the doctor and he told me that I had sprained my ankle from running too hard. Wow. Never thought that would happen. It feels great and awesome to have a brace/cast at first but when you have to take it off to take a shower or go to bed or even wear it going to bed it feels painful and it’s a struggle. Though, on the bright side, I don’t have to go to Cross Country practice until I have it taken off and I’m in perfect condition, and Coach said that I probably might have to end my Cross Country season if I’m missing for 3 days. Awesome and also not awesome at the same time. I’ll ponder on this later.

Anyway! Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

Really?!

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life. Jumping straight to the daily song/video of the day, we start with a video of a game I’ve been looking forward to playing for so long. It’s Battlefield 4. For those who are reading my blog and are not familiar with Battlefield 4, I assure you, you have not been living under a rock. It’s a video game, so you’ve probably not seen it. It’s a multiplayer trailer of Battlefield 4, if you want to see the real deal of the game look it up online. My purpose for showing you guys this trailer is because I hope that for people who are interested in First-Person Shooter games will start to broaden their tastes besides COD (Call of Duty) and for others who also have a skeptical way of looking at video games. If you’re none, well, just enjoy (as I usual say)!

So today (Sunday) was really interesting, On Friday–the day previous to Saturday–was so exciting I did not have much time to come onto the computer and post about it since I wanted to go to sleep. I went to a Football game and had a great time for a first football game. The next day I relaxed and got a nice haircut. This was not any kind of average haircut, it was a new haircut, a sort of Mohawk looking haircut. I actually slept at 6 o’clock in the evening and woke up at 6 o’clock in the morning (today). It was a really good sleep, still I feel like I need more sleep, but whatever. I’ve been listening to a lot of rap music. Specifically Kendrick Lamar and a bit of Eminem. The majority of the morning today I listened to some music and tried to memorize some lyrics from a few of Kendrick’s songs. I also tried to play some Minecraft, but unfortunately the computer was having a struggle, so I gave up that attempt.

This continued the duration of the morning with some times where I went outside and practiced making some shots on the basketball hoop. I’ve gotten into Basketball seriously recently. I feel so Black. Listening to rap music and hanging with black friends as my majority and playing Basketball. Honestly, I don’t care. It’s not like I’m annoyed being around white people, so whatever.

Once church time came around my Mom proposed we all go at the same time around 4 o’clock. Of course I did not want to comply, but I had to since she IS my Mom. So we went at 4 o’clock and I saw surprisingly Elizabeth at the church. I wasn’t nervous this time of approaching her and just being awkward when she was around. I was actually getting sick and tired of it,  so I just straight up approached her and joked saying she had actually come. Sydney gave me a hug–which I didn’t care about at the moment–which is kind of weird, but oh well. I greeted Michael and Corbin (sorry, I probably butchered your name xD) too. It was a great time to immediately meet up with the group. Kendall also arrived, but then told me some really shocking news. If you guys don’t know, Kendall, was one of the girls I had been struggling whether I should pick her over another girl called Kaitlin in the church as well or Samantha at school. I had decided not to try with her since she was pretty and seemed not attracted to me and preferred “us” as just friends. So I left it that way until now. She went straight up to me, asking if we could walk. She told me she had actually liked me/crushed on me. At first the news didn’t process in my head, I was of course surprised, but not the surprise I have at this moment. She knew that I had decided to choose Kaitlin and said she didn’t want to get in the way and said she couldn’t date otherwise. Now I’m not so sure.

The choices are killing me. Three very pretty girls that have very brilliant personalities (which is why I like them in the first place). Kaitlin loves Doctor Who and is not at all bad-looking. She’s just my preference. Kendall is blonde. I dig blondes. Honestly. Samantha (at school) is so nice and great to talk to and of course is very appealing. Right now I’m being honest as can be. I’m wondering who I should choose. I have to make my decision by Sunday. I hate to just be talking about girls and relationship and stuff like that, but this is what today consists of. I’ll ponder the situation later. A new girl came to church today and also is new to Georgia. She came from North Carolina apparently and so far I am so in love with her. Not in the actual way of LOVE. More in the sense that I find her very funny and love hanging out with her. The best part is that Michael is with me in the majority of my relationships problems and crush problems. Kendall and Michael were trying to convince me to talk to Kaitlin just when she was leaving and confess my feelings. It was funny but I sincerely did not want to do it.

Eventually, my family came around and told me I had to leave. So we arrived home and I decided to stay outside and make some shots on the basketball hoop. I’ve been practicing a lot of tricks. Still rusty, but I’m getting there. Currently listening to Kendrick Lamar. xD All the events have led up to this moment.

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

Science Project is Successful!

Hey guys! Andrew here. Bringing you a new post about my daily life! New here? Well, probably not, but if so, feel free to grab anything and relax for a little bit. This post about today is going to be quite a long one. Video/song of the day is now below! This song is Clique from Kanye West featuring Big Sean and Jay-Z (Explicit Version). It does have a lot of cuss words on the original, so I have decided to find a cleaner version, but still let you enjoy it, because it has a good rhythm. So enjoy!

Now to my day. I’ll just skip to the part where I’m actually off the bus, because apparently the bus was abnormally quite and silent during the way to school. As I walked toward the entrance doors for the 8th graders I met my friend Samantha on the way. A nice girl. I haven’t really mentioned her much, even though we can easily identify each other off the spot. But anyway, as we met up I was holding my Science project –I created from yesterday– in my hand because I had to bring it to school. It wasn’t the easiest to accomplish. Holding a backpack, a jacket, and a project (while trying not to mess with it) was a difficult task. Samantha noticed my struggle and immediately questioned what was in my hand. I told her it was my egg drop project. She nodded and then we talked on the way to the “C” wing. Finally when we approached the breakfast isle of the “C” wing hall, I saw a huge crowd and Samantha apparently decided to just go to homeroom instead of picking up a breakfast. I could have done the same thing because I had already eaten breakfast at home, but I was a little more eager to eat something before school. Unfortunately, a lady at the line who monitored the line very carefully, made sure the line did not overflow and told me that I would have to wait for the line to decrease in number, therefore I just decided to pick up my textbooks in homeroom and drop off my stuff while I could. I did so, opening my locker in one piece and picking up my Georgia Studies and Math textbook, and dropped my stuff on my desk. After that, I left homeroom and went to go pick up my breakfast. The line was unusually long again, but short enough for me to get in line. It took about 2 minutes for my turn to come up. I decided to just pick an orange juice carton and some apple slices. HEALTHY!

Once I returned to homeroom, class eventually started rather boringly. Mrs. Flowers continued to be bossy and irritating around us. Giving us more assignments and calling out people who were talking who should not be talking where in reality she was talking more than anyone else in the class. Not to say anything mean against her, but seriously. Turns out, near the end of Georgia Studies class (which was not really learning or reviewing through anything, besides vocabulary words) it turns out we had to write ALL of our vocabulary words on our own note-cards or a customary notepad, where she told us specifically last time to write it in our composition book. Mesmerizing what teachers can do. I also got moved from my seat next to Hayden because I was talking to Cole, who moved from his previous seat because he was behaving and Connor was being rude and was placed in Cole’s previous seat next to Mrs. Flowers’ desk. Unfortunately, from the cause of me talking to Cole, I sent Cole back to previous seat, but instead even closer to Mrs. Flowers’ desk and was put to sit next to Bryce. A very smart boy who spoke in a lower voice than me. This transition did not phase me at all. It was about time I started talking to an intellectual being like me. Plus he was very nice and understanding from my first impression of him. I talked to him, apparently, too much where Mrs. Flowers’ came to brink of getting pissed off of how I could move from place to place and still talk to people and threatened to call my parents. I stopped at that point.

Language Arts was a bit different as well. I forgot to bring my Workbook designed specifically for Language Arts so I got moved away from next to Savannah, which was almost a crazy thought to me at the moment because I had always sat next to Savannah and was nice and quiet. Our language Arts teacher, Mrs. Harris, seemed to be ticked off with something because she assigned A LOT of people in new seats and when they refused rudely she began to roar ferociously at her students. Surprising. We went over, in class, a poem from a poet I was actually quite familiar with in my k12 experience. Robert Frost. I actually remember writing his whole biography on the lesson about him on paper. So I was quite happy on the hearing of his name and that I was able to identify his name like that where other students were confused and looked around, bored of the sight of another poem. The poem was about a snowy night. I’m not quite sure what the title was, forgive me for that. But it was the poem about snow and in the middle of the night. We discussed over it and I had to identify 3 poetic devices used in the poem and then write a 3 sentence paragraph describing my interpretation of the poem. Simple. I actually finished quite quickly. Ha, I used alliteration right there. Lol.

Then I moved onto working on my Music Poetry Project where I picked the song “Fix You” for my song selection. A lot of people asked what song I picked and were confused and completely clueless about the song. I was actually really surprised. That was a good song and most people I knew knew about it. Preposterous. But, I can’t make everybody enjoy my taste in music, no matter how good it is . . . Anyway, I did a 3 paragraph long mini essay about what the lyrics on the song meant (from what I remember because I did not have the lyrics with me) and then I printed the lyrics online through the computer onto the printer that was in the classroom. I then almost got into a fight with Rob because she scooped my chin and then I scooped him back, instead on his nose and in the face, shoving him backwards. We were smiling during the time, but it could have easily turned into a fight if the teacher wasn’t present and plus Rob was in wrestling, so I tried to slow down a bit. I let him scoop me back, trying not to start anything further and got judged by Brianna. Who I forgot to mention to you all was in my class, though I try not to.

Math was easy. We went over substitution from last week. I don’t remember exactly writing or posting about it, but we did it about 2 weeks back. It was all fairly simple. We then, after finishing our notes for the day, went to Lunch. Lunch was pretty interesting because today I decided to sit with more of the macho man group of the class. There were the nerds/white boy only group (which I loved to spend time with), there were the girls, and then there were the macho men. I enjoyed my time over there because I knew most of the people on the table and had plenty of fun. I drank Chocolate milk, ate broccoli, and had pizza. REALLY UNHEALTHY.  Afterwards, when I did my usual path walk in the cafeteria with our class and walked with Vanessa, I talked to Vanessa and she tried to avoid me, but in a joking manner, because I did not sit with the girls and her at the table. I explained once again I wanted to mix it up. Then at that point, we were at her boyfriend and they did their thing of kissing and all sorts. I just continued walking and did not want to make it awkward and have eyes on the other tables spy me as I stood awkwardly there. Vanessa eventually caught up with me when she finished her thing and we talked. Danielle, as well, started talking to me to, she brought up the same topic from yesterday. This time she was nearly obsessing over the guy and was pleading for advice. Then she went to her friend and Vanessa and I went forward quickly. Surprisingly, when it was just us from our Math class and another class a teacher called her out and stopped her. She asked for her name and her homeroom and Vanessa was quite shocked. What did she do? I thought and probably she thought as well. The teacher said she needed to take her for right now and Ivy, a girl who I met usually when I came early to school, coincidentally was next to the situation and immediately walked to my side and asked what happened. I told her everything she saw and was surprised myself, then she randomly told me about her fetish for corn dogs, which was confusing for me because I did not know if I should be turned on by that or if I should ignore. Anyway, I was still confused.

Math near the end, where we did our homework got a little weird and stuffy. When we had to pull out our Math textbooks, suddenly our Math teacher got on a huge rage about Math textbooks not being brought in normally and now that she was going to check everybody if they had a textbook and if not they were going to receive a citation. Surprisingly about more than 4 people got citations. Wow. Mesmerizing what teachers can do. Most of the people who did not have their textbooks had to partner up with someone who had a textbook and then have their homework done. Most of those were girls and one of them was Lauren, a very semi-popular girl. Everyone knew her. Though recently she had been acting weird around me, like I had just fallen into a sewer or if I had just come from the dump. It was even more awkward when she came to sit down next to my desk. When I offered her a chair next to me to sit in my words sort of stuttered like: “H-h-here’s a chair-r-r-r.” It was weird. I tried to be as helpful as possible and tilt my book to her angle of side so she could read. Then, surprisingly, a girl who sat in front of me came to my desk as well and said she wanted to work with my book too. Eventually, another girl, who was named Shirling (pronounced Shirleen), came to my desk and asked for help on the Math. I had 3 girls on my table. It was awesome, yet un-explainable to its awkwardness. Eventually Lauren returned to her seat when she finished her homework, but the other girls stayed and talked to me. Exchanging jokes with me and I eventually helped Shirling with her work and helped her in guiding through it. It was awesome. Andrew on my side, who was actually very quiet, stared in shock and I nodded like a boss. Lol.

The day proceeded well afterwards. My science project was now about to be of use because next period was Science. Others who brought their projects such as Dianna and a lot of others had amazing egg drop projects. When I walked into the room, Mr. Dyches, at the front door, gazed at my project, gawking. He thought it was well done. I sat next to Brian for the whole time until we were escorted out to the stairwell. There was a whole sheet covered down the floor and a line for people to drop their egg drop projects. We had to pick up an egg from the egg cartons provided on tables and then had to have our egg drop projects weighed. Brian and I’s project was about 75 grams. After a lot of drops and people who dropped it, it was our turn. Brian had convinced me to let him drop our project because he had not done as much as I did and wanted to feel like he contributed. I was anxious. I told him how to use it and how to prepare it for drop. When the time came and it dropped at the floor it toppled. Oo’s and silent noises ruptured the whole room. Mr. Hill, another Science teacher neighboring Mr. Dyches’s class, examined the projects and went in to see if the egg was cracked. Our egg wasn’t cracked. HALLELUJAH! I went running across the hall screaming in excitement, others were looking at me like “Really?” and “What the?”, so I stopped and acted normal. I sat on the stairwell, waiting as other egg drop projects were dropped and then finally we went back to class. Mr. Dyches said that the person who was going to win the project was going to be very difficult to judge because the lightest egg drop project, which was Tia’s, was 4.5 grams, but way too simple. Dianna’s, on the other hand, was neatly constructed and looked like it took several hours to built. Brian and I, though, had an item on the project that actually involved air resistance and had an object no other project had: a wind turbine. He congratulated on those specific people and said, once again, that it was going to be hard to judge.

Then afterwards we went to our homeroom and then connections. P.E. was kind of boring. Nothing uneventful despite going outside for basketball. Health was nothing much as well. It was just a notebook check over what we were supposed to have in our Health folders during the course of 9 weeks. Then we left to our buses as I gave Lucy a hug and Caitlin and Emily a pat on the shoulder. The bus was very entertaining though. Jordan, a guy, was arguing with a 7th grader called Matt and owned him with some kind of shopping at Ross joke which made the whole bus go into a lot of “Oh!”s. Otherwise, pretty entertaining. I went home after the bus dropped us off and told my day to my parents. Then I did homework, did Bible Time with my parents, and had actually experienced a brutal bi-polar weather. One moment, their was rain pouring down so hard that the windows were being banged, next minute, it was shining nicely outside. Another moment there was a brutal wind that knocked a chair on our patio off its hilt and then suddenly everything was calm. Ah, Georgia’s weather. Now everything has led up to this point!

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Apologies for the long post. It was a rather nice day today, so I felt like including a lot of aspects of it. So anyway, bye!

A Pretty Bad/Good Start of the Weekend

That feeling that you get in your heart. That warm, fuzzy, comfy feeling that you get in your stomach. That’s the feeling of the upcoming weekend. 🙂

Yes, as you have heard if you actually LIVE on Planet Earth it is the weekend and if you live in the USA and are reading this post, you KNOW that the weekend is the sure sign of NO school. It would be almost a sin to put school on the weekends because it is our only source of break from the hard week. Unfortunately I’m not feeling as comfortable as I should be feeling. The reason why is because of my RYAP. I’m apparently failing in it again. Now if you are a new reader to my blog and you just read that sentence don’t think automatically that I’m a bad student. I am actually a very well rounded student despite my C in Social Studies and B in ELA. But trust me, before I had ALL A’s. Ain’t that the past. :/ But the reason for my failing is due to the fact that my RYAP is retarded. Yes, I said it, retarded. It was specifically assigned to me or I assigned myself to RYAP because it was said to be designed to prepare yourself for high-schools. When in fact it has done the exact opposite. I have NOT been learning at all. They just ask questions like: “Are you feeling comfortable with your working space?”, “Are you stressed?” “What is the brain called when it thinks about reading”, and more things to come.

The only thing I’ve REALLY studied about high-school and have learned about was when the teachers were asked a question from one of the students asking about how they are nervous about high-school and the teachers said: “It’s just like moving to middle-school when you were in elementary school, it’s not that bad.” And that was it for anything referring to high-school. Plus I seriously think my RYAP teacher hates me. She has given me three letters telling me I’m failing RYAP because I CAN’T catch up with the given schedule in school. Plus the recent assignment she has given me was not even mentioned in the daily newsletter. How was I supposed to know about that? Anyway, let’s drop my rants for a little bit, as I know they get annoying/irritating from time to time. Let’s go back to my Friday day.

I woke up, rather stressed. I still had the failed RYAP test in my mind. Recently I’ve been depressed because of my screwed up grades this year. Since I want to go to the big universities/colleges like Harvard and Georgia Tech, I seriously get depressed or worried when I fail at something, which does not happen to me on a usual basis. Well, Bill Gates was failing in Middle School but he came back in high school and became one of the richest people in the world, making the greatest invention in computer life: Microsoft. Plus, my mother has told me universities don’t look at middle-school and elementary grades. They really look at High-School grades, which means I REALLY need to focus on my school then. By the time, though, I am in high-school I’ll be going to a real high-school. New experience I guess.

Thinking about the RYAP test still makes me moody and unhappy. I rather change topics than rather talk about it now. So anyway, it was a normal school day. There were no classes today, on Friday, cause on Fridays apparently the school decides not to host any classes which I believe is sort of random and weird, but whatever. The teachers know better, what do I know? I know what somnambulism and I know Newton’s First Law of motion or something, I don’t know specifically. 😛

There was not so much special school assignments or school work. Just average work. I do find Fridays as a lazy day because most of the time my school decides to give me just three or four subjects, which is friggin awesome! Since I did not accomplish so many subjects, sort of skipped through them, and did not feel as rounded up in my brain, I decided to catch up on my Latin. Oh yes, I forgot to mention to you guys I attend Latin now. But it’s now not going to be worth the while since I’m leaving half way from the school. I’m sort of “HAPPY” and “SAD”. Happy for the fact that now I feel like Nayyir or SOMEBODY has spread some sort of bad rumor about me (I think it’s the barrels :O) and now whenever I speak on the microphone and finish the room goes completely silent and like one or two people applaud which is very awkward but satisfying for me. Though I do have to admit that I did receive a welcoming applause from almost the whole audience in class. Don’t know why everyone decided to applaud but they did.

Going completely off topic here, but I’m gonna rant a little bit more in school. You might not know the people who participate in school very much and their bio and whatnot, but I’ll explain. The usual, average people that participate on the microphone are Anna Rappaport, Ian Cooper (I think that was his last name), Isaiah Wilkins (I think that was his last name), and plenty more, including me. Now let me tell you something about these people, apparently the school has started this weird, popular trend about who’s the best microphone speaker and apparently Ian Cooper is like the #1 speaker and everybody LOVES listening to him. He most of the time gets like 20+ applauds from the whole classroom. I don’t want to say I’m jealous, but seriously now, he talks normally just like everyone else, except with a little more of a chilled voice and with a faster pace. I don’t understand why he’s so hip and pop! xD I don’t want to start with his looks though, cause I would sound like a person who would judge which I am .. and I am NOT. It’s a weird mix between the two. I’m just gonna leave it where it is. Now Anna on the other hand she is probably the smartest person I know. Fastest reader, smart brain, is always participating in every situation, is confident, and is Asian. Lol. Just wanted to throw the last part out there. But yes, she is smart. We used to be friends back in 7th grade, but now there’s been a completely different tone of attitude and confidence. Maybe she’s hitting her period right now? Dunno. But I think she hates me.

Literally, one time I was about to come up to speak on the microphone and we were in Mrs. Bey’s classroom (my ELA [language arts] teacher) and Anna at the same time had the moderator privileges which were like the big “teacher” powers entrusted into the good people. So as I got on the microphone and spoke about two minutes of boring paragraphs I get off the microphone and apparently I see like 30+ confused faces and I start feeling the same way too! What did I do? I’m thinking. Then Anna gets on the microphone and says:

“I think your microphone is messed up–” and then she broke off into this sort of chuckle or laugh and pulled of the microphone.

I think she finds me as weak or something, which IS sort of true cause she is apparently #5 in the world’s lethal weapons training, so if we were to meet she’d probably kick my butt off the face of the Earth. But don’t worry my bros, Andrew’s ninja skills will prevail! 😀

Okay now that I’ve ranted about two to three paragraphs of worthless ranting text, I’ll get back to the day. So as the school continued and I sort of skipped through most of them I found that I was learning a completely NEW set of Latin words (continuing onto me doing Latin). I think I had like 15 words to memorize and I was like FORGET THAT! I just noted them all down, wrote their pronounciation, and then wrote their definition. Done. After school was sort of over my parents had decided to leave and buy a rug for the new living room in the house, so I got like 1 to 2 hours of gaming time. It was pretty awesome. Played some MW3 and relaxed a bit. Once they got back home I helped my father load the rug in and surprisingly they also bought a mattress for the eldest sister, Patricia. Apparently she had been sleeping on a hard-mattress so they needed to spend their money on the mattress. Once that was done the day proceeded on. I’m not going to mention too much of what happened except the major important parts.

Later on I decided to watch Twilight with my sisters and mother jut for the heck of it. Then I took a shower, my mother made us about 40 chocolate peanut butter Ritz cookies along with some chocolate balls. No racist. Lol. I need to take a picture I’m serious! Then eventually near the end of the day as I was playing a little bit more on my PS3 I had received some bad news but had a good thing happen to me. My friend Sebastian and a few of his family members were going to come over during Saturday (which was the event I was looking forward to the most). Sebastian’s mother was going to make some cookies with my mother as a early-Christmas treat, Sebastian, Matthew, and I would play video games nonstop, and my sisters and Sebastian’s sister Sophie would play together. Unfortunately Sebastian’s mother called and said it would have to be cancelled abruptly. It put me in a bummer mood, but easily I was alleviated from the moody mood by joining a Black Ops Nuketown Domination game. It was complete madness. I got my first 50+ gameplay. I was so happy after that.

So yeah, weird start to the week, and sorry for the late post. Gotta get to my life, you know. xD See you guys later, wherever you are, have a great time and enjoy your day/night. Bye!

SOO MANY TRIPS!!

Hey guys, Andrew here. I’m back, after a long frickin’ time, and ready to give you a post. This return does not determine that I’ll be posting more often most of the time, but I hope I do get back to blogging more often.

Anyway, I’m ready to tell you what I did for the past Summer. For the past June and end May, I’ve been playing my PlayStation 3 and going outside a bare few minutes. Most of the time of the two months I was grounded, mostly my fault, but I still played my PlayStation as much as I could. Soon after June ended we went to Chicago. Yep, that’s right. My family actually traveled past the Southern border of America. We stayed in Chicago for, I suppose, a week or two. It was amazing. I enjoyed walking round downtown most of the time. I got to spend some time in the libraries and train stations of Chicago. I did get sick when we first arrived in Chicago because it took 12 hours to drive and I had accidentally somehow slept on the wrong side of my head, triggering some temperature problems and a small strong fever. Though I still enjoyed myself in Chicago. My family also got to go to the Lake of Michigan, if I’m right. Though we didn’t get to swim at the beach, we did cross by a Spanish dance event where all the Spanish drums and acoustics were playing while everyone danced. It was a great time in Chicago! Though I do suggest to stay in the libraries and the universities, they’re more entertaining, at least for me.

Once we returned back from Chicago, my friend, Savino, met up with me and we talked and exactly at the same time, when we returned, a tree had fallen down on our neighbor’s car from a huge storm that had occurred while we were gone. So of course, Savino and I had to go over there and inspect and create some sort of joke up about it to entertain our brains. But yeah, the minute I went there, I realized my being here, was becoming boring. The sky was dull, which I usually liked, but it just set down a gloomy mood and plus I wasn’t able to practice any exercise or Parkour. Eventually I sent myself inside and Savino, obliged, went home to. Funny though, the next morning I was woken up by my parents having them tell me we were going to Naples in Florida right now! My mind was scattered at the time and I hated going to Naples, especially having to spend my whole week inside a woman who I don’t particularly like, especially their neighbors hate me and my siblings, so no win for us except for my parents getting to do some business and spend some time with some of their old friends. The day we arrived after yet again another long drive, we unpacked our stuff and I had brought my PlayStation 3 because I hadn’t played it at Chicago or when we arrived at home, so I somehow got my Mom to agree letting me bring the PlayStation 3. So I hooked it up, first day, played my game, Skyrim, like a boooossss! I enjoyed it a lot, especially with another huge HD Monitor it was very comfortable for my eyes to play for hours. The next day my Mom and Dad had to go do business with a friend of my Dads to possibly get my Dad some money, I don’t know all the details, but yeah that’s pretty much it. It was a church day, so we had to wake up early in the morning. The cool thing, though, was the fact that we were visiting them in Miami. I always thought Miami of a crime county, but actually visiting it reminded me a lot of California. So yeah, we did business with them and they had two young daughters, me and my brother and my sisters spend some time with them. When we finished up we returned back to Naples and spend the week. We eventually spent another week there cause my Mom wanted to visit their church. So we did. And then we spent another week, though we didn’t go to church cause my Mom and the person whom we staying with and his wife were having a major argument. I didn’t enjoy my time over there except for playing video games and going to the ocean, otherwise, I don’t know, was this a good Summer? Leave a comment for your suggestion on your opinion on my poor description of my mixed Summer. I guess it was a good Summer but I didn’t enjoy the three week Florida trip.

I hoped you guys enjoyed my post, I’m still trying to get back to posting, so my Grammar or description isn’t as good. Thanks anyway for reading! 🙂 Subscribe me maybe? 😀

Checking Houses and Barbecue Party

Man I’ve realized over the past posts I’ve been writing ‘that’ AND ‘that’ in my titles. I’m gonna have to eventually have one day where I’ll just have one big topic to discuss about today. Anyway, today I woke up as usual, early in the morning so I could have breakfast. But I was too lazy that I decided to stay in my bed for another hour. I mean, it’s Columbus Day for crying out loud. After this we have several classes to review over our up-coming mid-term exams. So as I slept for another 30 or 40 mins my Dad walked in my room with a very grim expression. He told me to get out of bed. And I said I didn’t want to. He said I had to. SO, I had to go through all the explaining of today and how special it was for me.

He still didn’t get it and told me to get out. So I did. The day went on and on. I just don’t feel like describing everything right now. Eventually we were going to check on a new house my Mom saw on the market on Craigslist. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention we’re moving :D. Well we’re actually renting but you know what I mean. No more drama in our neighborhood; no more depression; no MORE Patricia’s friend coming to our house. Oh my God I feel so relieved. The whole family went to see the house. It wasn’t much compared to the other 3 houses we saw. But as a matter of a fact, it was so badly spaced our Dad and Mom didn’t want us to check it out, in fear that we might criticize it in front of the house seller.

We went home after that and after a few hours everybody, except Matthew and I, left outside. We were going to another house. But unfortunately, Patricia and Anabelle wanted to hang at Patricia’s friend’s house. Yeah, that b*tch’s house. -_- I didn’t say anything about it *sigh* which I probably should have. But I went with it. Matthew and I and Mom and Dad went while Anabelle and Patricia stayed at Patricia’s friend’s house. We saw a very nice house, very nicely structured outside and nicely made downstairs and a good backyard; only problem was the room space and the fact that there were hardly any neighbors. The other benefit was the pool and park that was close by. But that didn’t really mean anything to me or Mom and Dad.

Matthew loved it by the way. But I didn’t really. I still loved the first house I saw. It was the best. After we left to go home we decided to check the first house we saw’s neighborhood. We saw a close by neighborhood next to the first house we saw’s neighborhood. We went into it and it had SO MANY intersections and roads and went on so longingly. We weren’t even able to manage to travel all the way to the end. But Mom loved the first house even more. We had finally come to the point where we were gonna go through the application processing. After that we went home and picked up the girls to go to a Barbecue Party. It was fun and all. I got to hang out with 3 of my friends. John, Sebastian, and this other girl who decided to join the party, whom I don’t remember her name.

We all acted funnily. We played some ping-pong, had brownies and sweets, along with some barbecued food. It was fun in all, though Mom didn’t like the girl that decided to join the barbecue because she didn’t help everyone with the mess that the little kids caused while we were all upstairs hanging out. Which I think is totally over-reactive of Mom. But whatever. The party eventually ended and we went home and went to bed. I still kept thinking about Paranormal Activity until I fell myself to sleep. 😀

A Simple Walk In The Park

I had a dream; a dream I cannot remember at the time but meanwhile, I’ll be talking about today. I woke up, fell back asleep again because I was too lazy to get up early, and then woke up again another hour later, went back to sleep, and repeated the whole thing over again until I decided to get out of my bed. It was around 9 o’clock when I had officially decided to wake up and get back to my life. I wasn’t allowed to eat cereal today, which is pretty odd, I had to eat oatmeal since I hadn’t eaten yesterday oatmeal when Mom hadn’t even told me about it (how was I supposed to know?). Anyway, my sister’s, Patricia and Annabelle, and my brother, Matthew, were in the leaving room, watching as Patricia was playing Super Mario Galaxy 2.

After that, Matthew started playing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on the Wii and I just used the computer. I don’t know why, but I was not in the mood for video games. Actually I haven’t really liked playing video games at all, unless it would come to Call of Duty or some other game that would suit my taste nowadays. After that, we left to the Farmer’s Market to shop for some groceries and then came back with a hand-full of groceries. Dad watched Tennis just after we arrived and Matthew and I was hanging out with King and Savino. Nicholas came along too and then so did Logan with his brother Frankie.

Once 2 o’clock hit Mom had told my sisters, my brother, and I to come inside to eat lunch. King decided to join us, Savino irritated by that decision, decided not to come. He hung out with Nicholas outside, counting the dots of a ripstick while King, my family, and I ate rice, with chunks of spicy meats and some veggies. When we finished, Savino gave his annoying ‘pissed off’ look and bothered me the whole day with a lot of “Man! You didn’t invite me!”, “That sucks” and so on. :S Afterwards, Noah joined us for a game of bounty hunter since Simon (who had come later on in the day) and I had gotten too impatient to wait for Thierry, Kerry, and Marvin to come out side. It eventually ended when Mom said we were going to the park, in which everybody decided to come except for Logan. 😦

I was sort of disappointed that Nicholas had decided to come. He was very annoying along the way. Especially when my sisters had left with their friend Nicole to see Nicole’s brother play a football game in the Shorty Howell Suwanee Park. We came walked around the park with the whole group (Simon and I stuck together throughout the walk) and eventually came near the game field. Along we saw a lot of people we knew: Chelsea, Michael, Brandon, Patricia, Nicole, Ashley (in which she was embarrassed in front of her cheer-leader mates because Nicholas had the audacity to scream out “ASHLEY!! HI!! I LOVE YOU!”), and Annabelle. It was nice. A simple walk through the park while watching a tough, intensive football game. 🙂

Afterwards, we went home and saw Logan, Frankie, Abraham, Jojo, and this other kid I can’t properly name. Mom and Dad dropped off Simon at his house, and Nicole was inside our house, sleeping over. Okay, okay. Decent day overall. Nothing depressing or saddening about today.
