Great, an Injury!

Hey guys! Andrew here bringing you a new post of my daily life. Apolgies for that. I was busy and turns out, when I was supposed to go to the library, we had a lesson for advisement, which is apparently every Tuesday on the week. So I came late to the library and tried to post something, but I only got about 4 paragraphs down in about 10-15 minutes and then had to go to Lunch. It doesn’t mean that I’ve completely given up on you guys, don’t worry. But the song/video I wanted to present to you guys for today was a song called “Uppers” (a Trap song) from Stooki Sound and Mr Carmack. Two very brilliant Trap artisits that I believe you should go and listen to if you’re interested in listening to some good trap music. This song has amazing and booming bass that will blow you Trap fans away! Enjoy.

So today was pretty simple and organized. For once . . . I asked my Mom yesterday if she could drive me early to the school because I couldn’t walk to school or go to the bus-stop for neighborhood since I had an injury. Oh, and I will explain near the end how I got the injury. Don’t worry. I also needed a ride to my high-school early so I could finish my Mythology PowerPoint project. I did get a ready, but instead from my Dad. I actually am growing quite fond of talking to my Dad. Even though he’s always on my case about my diction and how I need to pronounce my words better (when actually he just can’t admit his hearing is getting worse), I still have great conversations with him in the matter of 10 minutes. I feel like I can tell my Dad anything and he won’t force his opinion on me like my Mom. No doubt that my Mom is easier to talk to, I still feel more relaxed talking to my Dad.

We talked about random stuff on the way to the school until he had to drop me off. Today, I brought my green Cross Country gym bag with a pair of my best shoes in them because a friend of mine at P.E. wanted to rent my shoes for 3 days for $5. It sounded like a perfect idea because he really liked the shoes and I would make a starting profit so I could start my PopTart business. So, having a backpack on my back, and a gym bag on my arm, I walked so confidently, ready to make business. I went to the Media Center library at my high-school and worked on the project, finishing the last touches.

In P.E. the guy I was supposed to meet actually forgot to bring the money, which was a big downfall on my side. Thankfully, I also brought 50 cents with me to pay my overdue book. P.E. wasn’t really fun or interesting. I just made shots and gossiped with some of my gal-friends. God, that sounded gay. It was pretty dreadful to waste my time over there and not do something productive with my 1 hour in P.E..

In Honors Language Arts, we did our Bellwork like usual (this time I actually got 98% of the bellwork correct today. After that we did our SSR Reading. I believe our SSR Reading is one day then the day after the next day, if I’m right or if that makes sense. I’m reading Beyonders or “A World Without Heroes” (never can tell which one is the title since they’re both in big bold text). It’s a really good book to be honest. I’m halfway through the book and I’m reading it really slow, so I could have been done with the book about a week and a half ago. It’s a really good book so far, and the details that are put into the book that describe the setting, mood, etc of the book really amaze me, plus I learn some new vocabulary words. After our SSR Reading, we went to the Media Center Library to work on our Mythology projects. Thankfully I finished it, so now all I could do was check with Coach Dawson (my Language Arts teacher) to see if what I was doing right or wrong and just to proofread and edit. I finished it then turned it in. I think I’m one of the few that finished the project sooner than most.

Biology was confusing today, cause Mrs. Labocetta kept making me try to make assumptions on our directions of the paper, which pisses me off because everyone seems to know what she means and I seem like the stupid one in the whole situation. I’ll always have to work hard and put effort for everything. That’s just me! Though, the only reason why I put up with Biology is because:

#1: I’m patient. More than others.

#2: I like Biology and Sciences.

#3: We’re do a Chemistry lab focusing on the molecules and chemicals formed in a structural method.

#4: I just sound smart saying #3, which makes me feel good about myself.

She then told us that we had to turn in our Mid-Term Reviews based on the sheets that she gave us today, which kind of puts me on my tipping point because it reminds of the review that I finished for the Unit 2 Test and I had it ready to turn in on that day, but I didn’t hear say we had to turn in the study guide anywhere. No indication. Not even an announcement, but yet everyone else knew they had to turn in their Study Guide. I’m gonna get a 0% on it, what the freak! I even explained my story and she said “I don’t accept late study-guides”. Gosh, fml.

Math was making a lot more sense. Mrs. Medina (the Math teacher) reviewed over the homework she gave us yesterday, and thankfully I got the majority of the answers correct. It gave me a confidence booster. When we were finished reviewing over the homework, she gave us the quiz we were supposed to be taking today. It was hard immediately when I looked at the paper, which made me angry. Because every time I’m taking a test or a quiz in Mrs. Medina’s class, the first few questions are nowhere related to what we’ve been studying or they’ve been designed in a format that I find confusing. What the french toast?! I still finished the quiz pretty fast compared to others (wasn’t the first 3 to turn in the test, though). She then gave us a review to do to get ready for the Mid-Term tests coming up this Friday and apparently this Review is gonna be graded. Goshdangit. I hate graded reviews.

The French test was really easy. It was on the 24 hour and 12 hour clock timing and seeing if we could tell what was morning, afternoon, and evening and to first of all tell the time in French. It was very easy, surprisingly. I was one of the first to finish it and could of been the first person to get up from my seat but I bet the others are either brilliantly fast in writing or they don’t write as carefully as I do. I can guarentee I have an A on the test, if not a 100%.

IDT was really interesting and rewarding for me because I got to solve my Scratch problems and finally perfect my Pong game. It looked great and when I created a new Scratch file and programmed the right code with the Pong instructions I named the file “Pong Patch 1.0”. I feel like a smart programmer that I got to create my own visual game through a bunch of code. You probably don’t understand the feeling, but once you get there you’ll understand. 😉

I got to go on the bus back home this time since my Cross Country couch said that I couldn’t go to practice at all with my ankle-brace (still have to explain my injury). It was fun being able to ride the bus and talk to my friends. Sarah was on the bus and so was Markel, as usual, and getting to talk to my friends was very relaxing.

When I got home, I had so much homework. It was unreal. But now I have to explain my injury. Two days ago, when I ran Cross Country and did the Hammer Time pace, I ran too hard on the 1000 meter workout. I had a bad pain on my ankle, which made me unable to run or walk on my cool-down. So instead I went limping the whole cool-down, trying not to complain too much about my pain. When we got back to the building and stretched, I picked up my stuff from the boys locker room and made my way home. Now this was worse for me, because going home and limping was not going to look right for other people passing by me and it would certainly take loger than usual to arrive home. I was 1/4 distance in to getting past Richland Park neighborhood and arriving to my neighborhood, when my Dad passed by with what was apparently my brother, Matthew. I thought they drove by and were gonna drive back and pick me up. So I went back to the start of Richland Park neighborhood and waited for 10 minutes. After that time, I assumed my Dad was not going to arrive and I walked back to where I was previously. I won’t lie, I cursed at my pain, because trying to walk normally back home was a pain. When I arrived home I was liping horribly and my Mom noticed. She took me to the doctor and he told me that I had sprained my ankle from running too hard. Wow. Never thought that would happen. It feels great and awesome to have a brace/cast at first but when you have to take it off to take a shower or go to bed or even wear it going to bed it feels painful and it’s a struggle. Though, on the bright side, I don’t have to go to Cross Country practice until I have it taken off and I’m in perfect condition, and Coach said that I probably might have to end my Cross Country season if I’m missing for 3 days. Awesome and also not awesome at the same time. I’ll ponder on this later.

Anyway! Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

Another Season Finale of D.W. and Ender’s Game (Novel)

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life. This post is going to be about yesterday (date will be provided below) instead of today which is something I used to do back in my old blogging days, but have now decided to do it since yesterday was pretty significant in my opinion. So, back as usual. Here’s a song/video of the day. For the new people who are coming to my blog, this is what I do every beginning of my daily life posts. I share a song or video for you all to enjoy. Sort of a cool intro to the life post. 😀 So the song today is from the same genre of the last song “Trap”. I love Trap. The genre’s nice. Better than Dubstep in my opinion. Just haven’t found so many songs as good as this song I’m giving to you. The song is called “Spaceman” and it is remixed Carnage Festival but was originally produced or composed by Hardwell. Enjoy!

Today was very interesting. I woke up, like I usually do on all days and began it very slowly. I started to play some Minecraft on the computer until my Mom kept shooing me off the computer. Eventually I just gave up on the idea of playing on the computer. A thing I have to mention is that my best friend Michael (whom I went with on the vacation to South Carolina) has a brother. His name is Daniel. For my old time bloggers, you all know who he is. Otherwise, I shall further explain. Daniel is Michael’s brother. Almost like Michael except younger and little bit more relaxed and humorous. Not saying that Michael isn’t. He’s just more of a chilled guy. Okay, so back on point. Daniel came over to sleepover and I’m assuming he’s staying over for 4 days until Michael comes back from the “Walk”. A church program the high-school part of the church is doing. So, now if Daniel is mentioned in this post, you won’t be wondering why the heck is he here? All explained. 😉

So, Michael and Nicole came over. The babies we have to babysit throughout the whole summer. Not the Michael I was just talking about previously. This Michael is about a year or two old. Maybe even older or younger. I am not quite sure. Usually I’m bad at guessing, so don’t put me on trial for it. xD Daniel had a good time hanging out with Michael and Nicole. Well, mostly Michael. We had loads of fun; trying out new activities such as “Dead Man” (a game) and some other fun activities that would make a baby and others laugh. Nicole, though, acted like a whiny baby. Daniel had to put Nicole in time-out 2 times cause she was either cheating at a game or she was choking someone by being too playful. All in all, I really hate it when someone is excluded. Even though I don’t necessarily enjoy Nicole’s company, I still kind of feel like I’ve been there many times. Where I’m the rejected one cause I do something stupid. But I’m not going to get all emotional about it just yet.

Eventually Nicole had her break time where she ate and then Michael and Nicole went to sleep. I began reading my Summer Reading book “Ender’s Game”. I got the book almost a week ago and coincidentally when I started reading the book I get told by my Mom that there’s a trailer for the book already. The coincidences are … real! 😀 I think I’m around page 30-40. I’m slowly reading through it. But when I’m in a book  reading mood, I can read up to 100 pages in one day. So I’ll be getting there. It is a 200-250 page book, if I can remember. Once again, I’m only assuming off of what I remember. My memory isn’t that great, unfortunately.

During when I was reading, I got on the computer and started playing Minecraft with my Mom’s permission. Eventually she came mid-way when I was playing a Hunger Games Server and said that I had won the game. Now another thing to explain. Daniel, Patricia (the oldest of my sisters [I’m the oldest of my family, though]), Matthew (my only brother), and I had a little challenge to stay up all the night from the first night Daniel came over and stay up even for another night if necessary until everyone had at least slept. Now, that this is explain, Patricia went to sleep immediately. Matthew fell asleep in the morning and it was just Daniel and I. Now when I was playing Minecraft, my Mom came in to inform me on my win. Daniel had slept. So I basically won the game. I could have won $13 in the game, but my Mom said she didn’t want any money allowed in the bets. So I took a quick nap after I finished playing Minecraft.

I woke up two hours later, when it was 2:00 o’clock and my brain was so disorientated. I thought I had slept through a whole day until 2 o’clock the next day. Thankfully my Mom made it clear that I only slept 2 hours. I went outside with Daniel and Matthew and played “Horse”. Matthew mercilessly beat Daniel and I. I was doing decent, but Daniel–I have to say–was doing an excellent job. He made many long 3-pointer shots and even swished it in. Though, for Matthew, he used his advantage of making side shots and got both of us out. Tava (the friend at the lemonade stands) and her brother Landon came around and we started talking. Eventually, after an hour, I decided to go inside and so did Matthew and Daniel. We came inside and relaxed. Until near evening, we watched the movie “Red” and then started watching D.W. (Doctor Who).

We watched the two last episodes of Season 3. Great Season Finale. Can’t tell anybody about it though. Nothing special in doing that. Well. It is pretty special cause you then know what you’re going to expect. What is the word I’m looking for? Oh yes. Not exciting. There you go. If I tell you, then it won’t be as exciting and heart-pumping to watch the Season Finale. You’ll just know what happens. So far, we have about 3 seasons left in the Doctor Who series. Then the series is still going on, except in the U.K. and not on U.S. television. Unless someone has the BBC channel.

Daniel slept once again and then I had to read to Matthew for an hour some Harry Potter. Matthew is a good reader. It’s just that during the morning and late night he is very slow and boring to listen to. He is more energetic and gives a tone when he reads during the day. Of course I’m pointing out things he may not know and how to pronounce some words. He had a problem pronouncing “cupboard” and pronounced it like “cup-board” exactly when in reality you’re supposed to pronounce it like “cubburd”. And the “u” in the beginning of “cubburd” is not pronounced like a normal. More like an uhh. Just saying for anyone judging me on my pronunciation skillzors. 🙂 And that was basically it for Thursday. The Doctor Who Season Finale day.

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

I Think I’ve Been Through So Much Crap I Don’t Know What To Do

July 28, 2010
First time that I actually cursed in my post title. But, it really expresses how I felt today (yesterday). Though, I’m again sorry I published soo late. I was at the pool and we were there longer than before. Anyways, all I did today was play some video games in the morning. I guess some Guitar Hero World Tour. I also had to watch people play. So, I guess that was different. If I remember well, my mom was home. She didn’t have to go to work. Which was a big yes for my dad because Michael and Daniel become very loud and my dad likes solving things the peaceful way. Hey, I’m fine with that just as long as it doesn’t include me. Afterwards, when my mom woke up her hair was sprinkled allover the place and she looked dazed but angry at us for playing video games in the morning. My mom always tries to keep us off video games. But, we just can’t help it. 😀 Well I can help it.

Anyways, in a matter of 5 hours of boredom and only TV, we got to go to the pool. With Anthony and Andrei (Romanian accent: Un-drei). Anthony is actually weaker than me by A LOT. But, I’m always trying to make sure he doesn’t cry too easily. See Anthony is either 8 or 9. Andrei was almost turning 13. Oh and Anthony was boy and Andrei was a boy. Even though they were Romanian they understood English just like us good. Though, I’ve seen Andrei text on her phone about me and they were cursing. Anthony is actually just a jerk though. Whenever I am at his house I have to do what he tells me to do, if not he’ll twist up the WHOLE story to get me in trouble. Hey, I can understand that at his house. But, he even does that at my house. WTF?!?! I haven’t been able to say that word in awhile. Yeah it feels good. 😀 Well, anyways, we went to the pool and Michael, Daniel, Matthew and I were sweating in the back like a pile of gorillas. Once Anthony came in with Andrei he sat in the trunk all the way to the trip.

Once we got there, Anthony immediately jumped in the pool. But, there was like a population 6 people in the pool so far and there were barely anybody making noises. We were the ONLY ones who where making noises. Unfortunately, we played this game called push-off. We basically had to throw our opponents in the pool and be the last one standing on dry land Anthony won because we HAD TO go easy on him. And because he hit us when we were unprepared. Well, curse my bad skills. Anyways, we eventually had to dry off when it was ONLY around 2 or 3 I guess. While we had to dry off we saw these big wasps that were like I guess the size of a grownup’s middle finger. We killed one of them without actually getting stung because for once they looked scared at us. Though we sliced its butt in half and it shot out the stinger then.

Once we got back home everything was a blur. That’s all I could remember.

Gentlemen! Abort To A New Life

July 14, 2010
If in any way you find this a little degrading it’s best not to start a fire yet until you check with me. Anyways, I woke up around 8 in the morning, well… I actually guessed that. But, my predictions were correct. Oh, I love it when you live in a place for so long you can tell the time easily. 7 at our place is usually dusk THAN at 8 it turns sunny. Anyways, I had my breakfast and took care of my farm too. I also heard Farmville made this new Swiss items. The thing I dislike about Swiss items is that they make a big celebration of a new item WITH farm cash and than soon enough it expires. That sucks. Swiss items are almost going to be gone. Just like the Wasabi from the Japanese seeds. Anyways, my sister came downstairs later and we watched TV. My mom luckily was staying home. So, we watched Avatar the Last Airbender like a family again. Than, once my dad had to go to this business meeting I didn’t know of we opened our K12 boxes with all the school projects for the next grade. Once we all opened the boxes it was a mess.

Oh and I had these books for my next grade. Earth Science. Exploring Our World: people, places and cultures (for geography). Then 2 big maps of United States and the WHOLE world. Minerals and rocks in a box. Cylinders, safety goggles and so on. English: Intermediate Literature and English: Intermediate Language Arts. Pre-Algebra and Mathematics: Structure and Method. Social Psychology (actually my dad got that for me to learn from). English: Language Handbook. Vocabulary. Believe Our Ears and Eyes. Animal Adventure. A Classics For Young Readers an audio companion. Myths Of Ancient Greece and Rome. Classics For Young Readers volume 6. The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer in the REAL version. The Secret Garden AGAIN in the REAL version. And that is pretty much it. May sound like a lot of books. But it’s even less than the other books I had last time.

Than, Simon asked me to come over with the gun. We eventually watched War of the Worlds. It was amazing and scary. Simon was constantly asking what was going to happen. I constantly blabbered out. Then, sometimes kept it secret. But, goes one way or another. Patricia came then left then Matthew came and got bored of the movie. He wanted to go home. Than, he came back and said I had to come home if he was coming back home. Simon and I bagged Matthew and kept him inside ti’ll the movie was done. Than, I told my mom the whole story she just laughed. Than, I went outside to figure out King and Savino were saying goodbye to the work boy who was never coming back. That is too bad. Well, I guess more for me than.

Afterwards, I had Canadian Bacon and eggs. Brought it outside and went up the street. That was a stupid decision. Luckily, I just saw Alicia come back from Kentucky. I was happy everything went back to normal. Than, talked to Logan. He was acting like a jerk for a few minutes until we made a deal. He’d stop being a jerk and I let him play the Dsi. Logan has a thing for Pokemon. Than, all the was left was King and we showed each other the drawings we made by Flip note studios. Day ended peacefully.
