4 Years on WordPress …

Hey guys! Andrew here. Every time I write on my blog now I feel like my typing speed has slowed down bit by bit. It surprises me and also scares me. So, if you guys/girls don’t know, I hit my 4th year anniversary on this blog. Yes, that means (if you actually look back to one of my first actual posts) I started this blog when I was 10. I was so excited of the idea of having a blog and when I first started my blog there were many people around my age who had blogs which gave me a great start with a great viewership. Nowadays, it’s just people viewing my blog because my previously popular posts has popular tags that people from all the way to Beijing and Australia can view. Canada and U.K. are one of my top popular viewer areas, besides of course U.S.A.. It’s crazy knowing random people from different countries I didn’t even know existed view my blog, but I do have to honestly say: I miss the old days. When blogging was so “cool”. When it was something I was so fond of. Now, I find it almost as a chore. Now, I’ve never thought of actually deleting my blog. That’s like burning up years of written posts for nothing. I still will keep this blog, even though I don’t post as much on it. I plan to post on this blog a lot more, it’s just the middle school laziness has gotten to me. I wonder if I’ll ever post daily like in the old days or if I come across other viewers who will be reading my posts daily. This is all that I wonder.

So, to summarize that huge paragraph. I am proud of how far I’ve come. 100,000+ views is a lot. Not my highest expectation, but it’s a lot. I have a certain goal I want to reach on my blog around the age of 17. The days of starting college years, which actually is about 3 years from now. Wow. Time goes by, even for me. So yeah. Just wanted to state my feelings and give my thanks to those who were with me all these years. Thanks.

As usual, enjoy your day wherever you are! Bye

Touchy Girls and an Epic Basketball Game!

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life! The song/video of today is a song called Demons by Imagine Dragons. A beautiful song to Imagine Dragon’s great role of making awesome music. Though, I find it interesting how the song only has 18 millions views compared to most of Miley Cyrus’s songs. JUST SAYING! Anyway, enjoy!

So today was very interesting. I woke up feeling very tired. Mostly because over the last weekend I stayed up till late 9 or early 10 o’clock at night, which now you guys are thinking “That’s not even late!”. Trust me, when you gotta be ready for a bus that comes around 6 o’clock in the morning around the Fall season (which not to mention is cold as balls) sleeping around 9 o’clock is a decent sleep schedule for proper brain function. Say otherwise and I call bullcrap. My Dad came into my room in the pitch black dark, telling me I needed to wake up and what time it was now, in which I turned to my watch activated the light button so I could see the time in the dark and then got up. I almost felt like falling back asleep. Today’s choice of clothes wasn’t really nice for me since I had worn a lot of my good clothes recently. I wore these really thick jeans that would protect me from the outside and then wore a T-shirt with a Hollister sweater ontop. I eventually realized, once I went downstairs to pack up all my school things, that the T-shirt underneath my sweater was showing on the neckline. It annoyed me to no end! I couldn’t stop it unless I cut the T-shirt neck line to a shorter size. I tried not to focus on it too much.

I left the house once my Mom came downstairs and made me brush my teeth and wash my face before she applied the acne creme and let me leave the house. Once I was done brushing my teeth and splashing cold water across my face, my Mom did as she promised and applied acne creme. Then I took 3 Pop-Tarts and left the house, giving my farewells to my Mom. Outside was nowhere as cold as yesterday. I guess because of the jeans I had on. I saw Sarah next door with her house door open getting ready to get out of the house. I walked down from my cul-de-sac and arrived at the bus-stop, coincidentally arriving at the bus-stop with Markel. Markel was wearing shorts and he confessed it was not even cold, so I guess it wasn’t the jeans! Sarah later came and then stood with us at the bus-stop, talking about her home-coming experience and a bunch of other things. Finally, when the bus came, which seemed to be in no time, we got on and just as I prayed for a seat to be open for me, there was a seat on the second row of the bus. Now that is proof that’s not just coincidence! Markel sat next to me and we both talked about random things. I began to sing “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas”, which stirred a great laughter from a lot of the people on the bus.

When the bus arrived, this time, since we were in the front of the bus we had to get up instead of get some extra time to sit down and wait to stand up and walk out, but then again we got to get into the school faster. Today, for breakfast, they had my favorite meal. Biscuits made to be opened in half in the middle of the sides of the bread and a nice chicken breast to place in the biscuit. The meal was so awesome and nutritious, plus it went well with the orange juice I put as a side. I arrived at P.E. and the same Christian group was at the front, this time they had already formed to start a prayer. They all looked at me as I entered the room, I tried to look away so I wouldn’t grab their attention. As I finally walked away from them and started walking downstairs to the lower gym, somebody tapped me from behind and turns out it was Chris. He said he was right behind me the whole time and asked about the group of people over there and how they looked strangely at him too. It was a funny conversation we had for a few minutes, then we arrived at the lower gym and talked to Keila, who was already sitting against the bleachers in our usual spot. We talked and talked until the bell rang and Coach Pierce came out and called roll. Apparently, Chris said his name one time Coach Pierce was calling roll and Coach Pierce didn’t hear him, marking him AWOL, which Chris said was soon going to give him a referral. It was funny how Chris was overreacting about it like a girl. When Coach Pierce called my name, I went into the locker rooms and got changed. Then went out of the locker rooms to enjoy P.E..

P.E. was okay. Not many shots were made by me, and of course, because of that everyone started nagging at me (for nicer words) for not making shots when they were NOT passing at all and expected me to get the rebound. Goddangit, I hate playing with freshman white boys. I made like 2 shots and a black guy made like no shots, yet they come at me. I was about done when they started to completely ignore me and not pass to me at all unless I would go in and pull a ball from some guy. I talked to one of the guys and told him I was pissed off that he was talking all this trash about my basketball coordination and then we got into an argument. I was the one arguing with more attitude, which seemed to shut him up and try to be nice to me. By that time, P.E. was over and we went back in and out of the locker rooms.

Honors Language Arts, the girl Nasir who owed me money, told me she was going to pay me $4 on Friday. I’m going to soon make a list of everyone that hasn’t paid me back and start charging interest for late payments. Jimmy said he had a $5 bill, but he didn’t want change of quarters (which still annoys me why people had coins for change), so I told him he could bring the $5 tomorrow and I could figure out a way to give him his change. We read more about the Odyssey and had finally finished the 1st part of the story. I’m pretty sure we were given another assignment to do tomorrow and work on, so I feel pretty confident about the class so far. We also have a test on the Odyssey on Thursday, if what I remembered was correct.

Honors Biology was depressing because of all the times in the world, when my Mom says that the teacher will bring up a “Pop Quiz” when I’ve never had a “Pop Quiz” in my public school life, my Biology teacher decides to create a Pop-Quiz off the notes we took yesterday. Of course, as stupid as I am, I didn’t study the notes cause I was too busy focusing on the Math quiz today. Ugh. School is a douchebag.

Accelerated Math was sort of confusing. The quiz we took was okay, but I knew I failed a couple of questions and am probably gonna get a B on the quiz, if not a high C. I’m angry because no matter what I do in this woman’s class, I can’t get to an A. It’s impossible. The quizzes are basically made for you to know every fricken scenario in Math, which is not my strategy. Grr!

French was okay. Lunch was particularly interesting. I came to my usual lunch table, but did not sit in the same spot because this kid who used to sit with us decides to sit with us now and apparently doesn’t even know me but doesn’t like me or want to socialize with me, so I automatically dislike him. I sat on the far left of the table and my sophomore friend, Taylor, told me to sit on her lap. Oooh. Okay! 😀 At first, it was kind of strange for me to do at first, but then I just sat normally, plopped on her lap. The weird part and kind of interesting part was the fact that she kept touching my stomach and chest. Genavive (if I spelled her name right), my ex girlfriend was right in front of this and was automatically uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable to be honest as well. I tried to flex my six-pack whenever Taylor would feel against my stomach. Corbin, an ex of Taylor’s also sat with us at the table. He tried to smile and not pay attention, but I felt so bad for him. Taylor and I were both killing our exes slowly. Near the end of lunch, the lunch man that comes by and throws away our trays saw me sitting next to Taylor and gave me the evil glare. He didn’t speak, but pointed his finger up and pulled out a chair and threw it next to me. Awkward. 😦 I sat next to Taylor still and laughed with the group about it. When I left to class from Lunch, Keila happened to walk by me and we walked hugged each other like we never saw each other. Thing is we’ve doing this for a long time, but every time we do it, the hugs get tighter. I don’t know. Probably just over-thinking it. IT’S A SIGN! 😀

Digital Technology was slowly becoming sensible and not much of a hassle. Though, most of the girls who were in my Digital Technology class were “all up on me”, sitting on my lap as well. I guess the girls are touchy this time of the year. I guess this all pays off for my absence from Homecoming. 😉 I took the bus back home, but realized on the way that I had a Science Olympiad meeting and forgot. DANGIT. I am so forgetful and stupid.

Eric on our bus started talking with us about the basketball tryouts and Markel and I said we were gonna tryout, which then lead to our conversation of when we challenged Eric to a basketball game. Markel and I beat him, but Eric claimed he wasn’t trying his hardest. So, Markel and I challenged him to a game of basketball. Now, I now it’s both Markel and I, and when we come together our plays are really good, but Eric is a Junior Varsity Football player and super buff and can really dribble the ball, so it’s almost a fair game. When the bus dropped us off on our bus-stops, Markel and I immediately came out of our houses and practiced on our basketball hoop for about 15 minutes and then went to Eric’s house to pull him outside. All three of us warmed up with some shots for about 10 more minutes and then started our game. We went to 40 points (counting by ones) and we counted wins to each others teams by who got to each 10 of 40. Like who got to 10, 20, 30, or 40. Turns out, after so much sweat and dry laughs, Markel and I got tied with Eric on the 40 point part. I figured out Eric’s strategy and figured out how to pull the ball out of his hands and when his weaknesses were exposed. So, in order to even out of the odds, we had another game by trying to get to 5. Eric did amazing and beat us by 2 points. So, therefore, Eric won. It was an amazing game and wish I could give more details, but it’s 9:01 PM at night and I’m super tired. So, there you go. That was pretty much it for the day. I just continued studying and listening to music throughout the day till this moment right here where I’m posting to you guys.

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

I Have Found an Excellent Opportunity

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new announcement post about my blog. Reason, in short, for not being able to post as frequently lately is because I’m in high-school and in high-school I have a lot of priorities and things I wanna do. For the most, I’m in Cross Country (which has been a splendid experience) and being in Cross Country there’s a lot of committment involved in doing the sport. I’ve just recently finished a 5K Race for Cross Country, which takes up about 4-5 hours of my day after school. I also have been involved in prestigous clubs that will look good for my college portfolio. One of them I’m taking is Science Olympia, a really fun group that studies many different topics of scientific builds, chemistry, labs, etc. The class, itself (such as Accelerated Math, and Honors Language Arts, Biology) have been difficult to keep up with on grades since I have so little time left to study for the subjects. High-school’s a pain and struggle, but also a delight in summarization. If you’re homeschooled, you really aren’t aware what you’re missing if you’re not in a public high-school and this is coming from a person who’s been homeschooled for technically 12 and half years of my life.

To the point of this point, I have found an opportunity to able to post more for you guys. Right now, currently, I am typing on the Media Center computer at the high-school I’m going to. If you don’t know what the Media Center is, it’s basically the library except with lots of visual features and many, many computers that are available 24/7. So, I’ve decided to take my free-time before my 5th period (which we call here advisement [which is 30 minutes]) to post to you guys/girls or anyone who is reading. Plus, I feel a lot more satisfied with myself when I’m writing or typing down articles and gets some emotions of my chest. It’s weird I know. A 14 year old boy, like me, with a blog. If any of my high-school friends at the high-school I’m going to saw my blog, they’d laugh at me for sure, but writing is my talent! And I love it, even if I’m not the best at it.

So, without further ado, and without going so poetic with my writing, I am signing off and hopefully you’ve acknowledged what I’ve just typed down the majority of this time, or otherwise this would all be in vain.

So, bye!

Enjoy your time wherever you are!

Really?!

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life. Jumping straight to the daily song/video of the day, we start with a video of a game I’ve been looking forward to playing for so long. It’s Battlefield 4. For those who are reading my blog and are not familiar with Battlefield 4, I assure you, you have not been living under a rock. It’s a video game, so you’ve probably not seen it. It’s a multiplayer trailer of Battlefield 4, if you want to see the real deal of the game look it up online. My purpose for showing you guys this trailer is because I hope that for people who are interested in First-Person Shooter games will start to broaden their tastes besides COD (Call of Duty) and for others who also have a skeptical way of looking at video games. If you’re none, well, just enjoy (as I usual say)!

So today (Sunday) was really interesting, On Friday–the day previous to Saturday–was so exciting I did not have much time to come onto the computer and post about it since I wanted to go to sleep. I went to a Football game and had a great time for a first football game. The next day I relaxed and got a nice haircut. This was not any kind of average haircut, it was a new haircut, a sort of Mohawk looking haircut. I actually slept at 6 o’clock in the evening and woke up at 6 o’clock in the morning (today). It was a really good sleep, still I feel like I need more sleep, but whatever. I’ve been listening to a lot of rap music. Specifically Kendrick Lamar and a bit of Eminem. The majority of the morning today I listened to some music and tried to memorize some lyrics from a few of Kendrick’s songs. I also tried to play some Minecraft, but unfortunately the computer was having a struggle, so I gave up that attempt.

This continued the duration of the morning with some times where I went outside and practiced making some shots on the basketball hoop. I’ve gotten into Basketball seriously recently. I feel so Black. Listening to rap music and hanging with black friends as my majority and playing Basketball. Honestly, I don’t care. It’s not like I’m annoyed being around white people, so whatever.

Once church time came around my Mom proposed we all go at the same time around 4 o’clock. Of course I did not want to comply, but I had to since she IS my Mom. So we went at 4 o’clock and I saw surprisingly Elizabeth at the church. I wasn’t nervous this time of approaching her and just being awkward when she was around. I was actually getting sick and tired of it,  so I just straight up approached her and joked saying she had actually come. Sydney gave me a hug–which I didn’t care about at the moment–which is kind of weird, but oh well. I greeted Michael and Corbin (sorry, I probably butchered your name xD) too. It was a great time to immediately meet up with the group. Kendall also arrived, but then told me some really shocking news. If you guys don’t know, Kendall, was one of the girls I had been struggling whether I should pick her over another girl called Kaitlin in the church as well or Samantha at school. I had decided not to try with her since she was pretty and seemed not attracted to me and preferred “us” as just friends. So I left it that way until now. She went straight up to me, asking if we could walk. She told me she had actually liked me/crushed on me. At first the news didn’t process in my head, I was of course surprised, but not the surprise I have at this moment. She knew that I had decided to choose Kaitlin and said she didn’t want to get in the way and said she couldn’t date otherwise. Now I’m not so sure.

The choices are killing me. Three very pretty girls that have very brilliant personalities (which is why I like them in the first place). Kaitlin loves Doctor Who and is not at all bad-looking. She’s just my preference. Kendall is blonde. I dig blondes. Honestly. Samantha (at school) is so nice and great to talk to and of course is very appealing. Right now I’m being honest as can be. I’m wondering who I should choose. I have to make my decision by Sunday. I hate to just be talking about girls and relationship and stuff like that, but this is what today consists of. I’ll ponder the situation later. A new girl came to church today and also is new to Georgia. She came from North Carolina apparently and so far I am so in love with her. Not in the actual way of LOVE. More in the sense that I find her very funny and love hanging out with her. The best part is that Michael is with me in the majority of my relationships problems and crush problems. Kendall and Michael were trying to convince me to talk to Kaitlin just when she was leaving and confess my feelings. It was funny but I sincerely did not want to do it.

Eventually, my family came around and told me I had to leave. So we arrived home and I decided to stay outside and make some shots on the basketball hoop. I’ve been practicing a lot of tricks. Still rusty, but I’m getting there. Currently listening to Kendrick Lamar. xD All the events have led up to this moment.

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

So Far I’m Doing Well …

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life. I’m just trying to get back into the vibe of things. You know; with the daily posting on my blog. Something I used to do… Unfortunately, I know for a fact I will not be able to accomplish that unless I make a big change in my schedule. It might come to that since I find my blog so important, but we’ll see. For now I won’t be posting daily until High-School allows me to breathe. So, as usual, we start with the video/song of the day. Today will be a video from BestofVine. Something I’ve been watching a lot. For those who don’t know what “Vine” is and has been living under a rock, I shall explain briefly. It’s a website/app that allows you to record 6 second videos. Trust me, it doesn’t sound like much can come from a 6 second video, but you will be shocked at how creative and funny the videos can be. So here’s the video, enjoy!

I will upload more in the future, but for now. Enjoy the 6 second video. Now to the day.

I don’t have much time to write a long post without typing so fast my parents would come to me and yell at me for not doing homework regarding I have a big test on Biology, but whatever. I’ll make through (which means probably not).

My usual wake-up schedule, usually, is around 5:30 in the morning. By that time the outside is so dark. My Mom usually wakes me up or somehow miraculously I wake up just a few minutes before I’m supposed to be awoken. Take in mind I must be at the bus around 6:28. Today was an exception. I was to leave a bit early and have my Mom drive me to the school so I could get some extra help on my Math homework. I ate break-fast, worked on remaining homework, brushed teeth, then got ready to leave with my stuff all organized in my backpack. My Mom drove me to the High-School, like usual, in the dark, which of course somewhat frightened me since she wasn’t as good of a driver as Dad (nobody tell her I said that).

I went to the Math teacher, Mrs. Medina, and got help. We were working on Substitution, but in her class, she had a reputation for teaching a topic and then in the homework some of the actual questions we studied on were in the homework while others we just had to improvise. I’m not a good improviser. Especially in Math. So this was my 5th time, approximately, visiting her. I was an active visitor, if Mrs. Medina had to say herself. Once I finished with being helped, I went to my next period. P.E.; yeah, I have P.E. at 7:10 in the morning. It feels great. I’m being serious and also sarcastic, if that makes sense. I hope it does.

P.E. was just average today. Though I always had much fun talking to Michael (another friend of mine) and his friend Michelle. I usually stayed on the lower floor of the Gym room to practice my basketball shots, but I got tired of doing the same thing. Tomorrow, I plan on doing Soccer. So far, I believe I have a 100% in P.E.; which means I got a perfect attendance in that class until I get the tests in P.E., then my grade will slowly drop.

Next class, Language Arts. Nothing really exciting occurred in that classroom. Most of the kids are malcontent there, or at least that’s the feel I’m getting. We worked on specific definitions regarding the main idea of Characters. Right now we’re building on our Grammar House. It probably doesn’t make sense to you, which is understandable. I’ll try to get a picture of the work next time I post something. I have an 89% in that class. Just one more percent and I’ll have an A. It feels great to have A’s in a subject. Makes me feel smart!

Biology came after. We did a big classwork project, as usual, in class where we had to associate with other people in the class as group members. I honestly felt the teacher, Mrs. Labocetta or Mrs. Cabral for short, was a fast teacher. More in the sense of she went to fast for me to learn much, but I kind of liked it. It put me to work to listen to her and plus my brain is very adaptive to personalities, unless you’re just impossible. xD Once we finished the big classwork project we were sent to next class with regards of studying for the big 40-50 question test. I sincerely need to make a really good grade on this test and should be studying for it right now.

Once I went to Math class, we focused on working the homework from yesterday. I coughed up a couple of jokes in the class and entertained the class for a little bit, but then focused the majority of the time. I also beat-boxed in the class more than any other class. It’s normal for others, but today was the first day I beat-boxed, so Vanessa, my best friend, in front of me, was ooing and awwing at how impressive I was at beat-boxing and the others admired it too. I honestly did not do beat-boxing for attention. That is just one of the perks, folks!

Next was French. Before we actually have “French” class in “French” class, we have advisement because right after advisement we have to go to Lunch. So once we all went to Lunch, I sat with another good friend of mine I just made this year named Casey. I helped him with the homework for French since I was assuming that since I had other things to worry about over the weekend he would have his homework finished and he could help me with the answers. And “no” it is not cheating cause I’m not copying off of him. It’s help. I just want to get that across. One Lunch was over, we went to class and went over the days of the week and months in French and tried to practice saying “What is the date of today/tomorrow/yesterday/your birthday”, which failed miserably until she got to Keiland, Charisma, and some others including me, who answered perfectly. She got a bit angry, so it wasn’t a really nice time for the class. Otherwise it was pretty fun.

Digital Technology was the next class in which I walked with Casey too. In great time to know, we had another big project added to our list. One studying on big things like jobs we wanted for college and what the salary and income of that job was required and what the standards were needed to be met and what other extra classes we had to take to get a better chance to be in that job. It was really eye-opening for me, to understand the struggle my parents have to go through.

After Digital Technology was over, I stayed over in school–like I usually do–and went to Cross Country. Today we had a hard run of 400 meter hills in which we had to do 6 times. It was extremely stressful because if we couldn’t accomplish all six we would not be able to run the Wesleyan Race, which is this Saturday. I did all six, surprisingly for me, and got in front of my group I belonged to and got in front of the group who was ranked above me. It felt rewarding and extremely tiring because when we were finished we had to have a cool-down of running from the trail we ran back to the school which is a 2 mile run. I don’t understand how that is a cool-down but whatever, the coaches say, I do, is what I think. I ran back to the school with the whole JV Cross Country group and then had to do as much push-ups we could do in 30 seconds and 50 ab-workouts of any kind and then do 2 minute planks. Brutal. Believe me. Then we left and went home.

Usually my Mom picks me up after Cross Country, so I went that way and told her all the great news of today. Great grades and a good run today. Tomorrow, though, I’m having a Recovery run which is so nice for me since I ran the hard 400 meter hills today. Yes baby! 😀

Once I came back home, I watched some Youtube. Listened to some music, studied for my homework, and then am blogging to you! All of the events have led up to now.

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!

Just a Brief Summary Over What’s Happened in High School

Hey guys! Andrew here! Bringing you a new post of my daily life. This post is going to be quite brief and it kind of explains why I have not been able to post to you guys lately. School’s just been busy for me.

I joined Cross Country. Yeah Big sport. I’ve also joined the Science Olympia. A big prestige group that involves building and crafting cars and other cool projects. It’s also a good group to be in if you want a good record on your profile for College. I’ve already done my first race in Cross Country. It was indeed difficult, especially to get a high-ranking since the others had been in Cross Country since the beginning of the Summer, but I did my best. I made second to last out of 18 people. Basically 17th place. My first race and I’m not last. Woo! I’ve been taking Digital Technology class where soon we will be able to dig into the hardware of the computers and gain the knowledge of computer programming and how to build a computer. I’ve also been taking French. It’s a bit interesting to learn, but not such a difficult subject hands on. I’ve learned my basic “Bonjour” and “J’em a’ppelle” and all that good jazz. We’re learning now more complicated stuff but you get the picture. Math has been pretty fun. In Language Arts we’re reading 10 page short stories that are pretty long and also reading books in general. I’m in Honors Biology (and Language Arts btw [along with Accelerated ALG]), which is a lot of classwork than homework. Though I learn a lot of stuff so I’m pretty happy. I also have P.E. at 7:10 in the morning. It sounds like a lot of work, but by that time I’m with my good friends and we’re all energetic. Thankfully I’m not taking any Social Studies or World Studies classes. I’ll probably take AP Human Geography though.

So there you go! A quick summary of my classes and what I’ve been involved in. There’s still SO much I have to tell all of you guys, but it’s all in good time!

Enjoy your time wherever you are! Bye!
