Wow..

It’s almost a new year guys. 2012 is gone. Thank God, but I’ll miss it somehow. I think a lot happened this year. New songs came out (annoying and good ones). New artists arose. iPhone 5 came out and so did the new Samsung phone. Lots of epic movies: The Avengers, Batman the Dark Knight Rises, maybe Dark Shadows (wasn’t very impressed with it, though), a lot more that I probably don’t feel like mentioning or I can’t remember them. So yeah a lot of cool movies! I’m gonna be leaving k12 and becoming an actual public schooler. Wow, never thought this would happen. Maybe at some point, but not before I was in high-school. I’m gonna miss Mary-Kate of course. Mary Wexel, she probably ain’t reading this, but oh well, I’m gonna miss her. I’m gonna miss Christ or VGB (something like that). I’m gonna miss Lilia and it sucks cause I didn’t tell her I was leaving. 😦 I made friends with Taylor Baptiste just by spamming the raise hand button. We had our fun. Oh gosh, Mary-Kate if you are reading this PLEASE tell Lilia and Taylor somehow that I was gone, k?

So yeah.. new year. Hopefully I’ll postt daily more. 🙂 See you around guys!

Ehh

Don’t feel like talking about yesterday, sorry. I’ll be talking about today tomorrow. So keep updated people. 😛

A Pretty Awesome Day

Hey guys, Andrew here, bringing you another post about my daily life. I don’t remember too much but as I go on writing I’ll try to remember what I can. Anyway, most of these weekdays are occupied with either school or some kind of special event. I’ll try to write in short.

School, school, school.. And more school.

Then later on in day I did some parkour with Matthew and Anabelle. Patricia stayed to herself throughout the whole day until the grownups came. Basically since my mother and father are very active in the church help group, they host people to come to our house and have everyone over. Now, we can actually be proud of people being at our house with the new size and glamour. xD

Once the grownups left, we had cookies and other sweets. Then afterwards we had fun doing a sort of Shrades game. I don’t know how to spell it. After that we went to sleep. It was a good average day in all. 😛

Best Tuesday I’ve Ever Experienced

Hey guys, Andrew here, bringing you a post about a day that was immediately placed in one of the best days ever! Normally, on a Tuesday, nothing would happen. It usually became the relaxing day after the worst day ever: Monday. Which I did not post about cause I did not feel like writing 1,000 words about a boring day. So anyway, let’s get talking about the day.

I woke up in the morning, feeling quite relaxed. Though, as I woke up, I did not feel like getting out of my bed. I had that feeling some people get when they wakeup and feel that the  blankets are set just right and are warm/cold enough and comfortable enough to convince you not to get out of bed. And convince me the bed did. I was acting as if today were a Summer day instead of school day, so I had no intention of getting up at any time. Once I went back to sleep, had a crazy dream that I cannot remember at the time, and woke up, I set myself ready for the day. I went downstairs and ate breakfast whilst greeting my mother with a smile and a “good morning”. I ate my animal cracker breakfast, then put all the cereal equipment back where they belong, and then decided to work on my school. I was not worried that I had missed a class while I went back to sleep in my bedroom.. well, maybe a little bit, but not too much. As I logged onto my school profile, there were, surprisingly, no classes today. What? Was this going to be like this for the rest of the days? I was feeling quite bad inside because what if there were no classes up until I left k12? I wouldn’t have time to say goodbye to any of my school friends! 😦

But having no classes at the moment was fine for me, just as long as it was only today. I took the advantage of having no classes so I could work on my main OLS subjects. I went straight for Composition, since it had no assessment at the end of the lesson, and skipped right through it, acting as if it was completed. Ah, I’m such a bad person.. Anyways.. after I finished or skipped through the Composition I went to Science. I think it was Earth Science or Life Science, I don’t remember, but it was Science, I know that! I took my time with the lesson, seeing as it was STILL only about 9:30 AM in the morning. I was learning about the formula for force when the factors mass and acceleration due to time were available, and then the lesson tried to twist me and test how logical I was going to be by asking what would happen if the factors force and acceleration due to time were shown, but you would have to find mass. Of course, if you all don’t know, I’m not a very logical person most of the time. Apparently, for this lesson, my brain *clicked* and used its logic. I ended up finishing the assessment test for the Science with a perfect grade of a 100%. After that I started to contemplate to myself.

“I think I want to be a scientist.” I thought to myself.

I never thought I would say it to myself, but I now said it, and am STILL surprised by the fact that I said those words. I don’t know why, but I guess the ease of Science this year has convinced me to grow a farther liking for it. Especially Math! I’m learning it a lot faster and a lot smarter as you’ll see throughout the day. But anyway, let’s continue with the day. You already got the point of the reasoning behind my wanting to be a scientist. After Science, I did Georgia Studies (it’s like history except specifically on Georgia), but unfortunately before I did Georgia Studies my brain decided to go bad and wanted to watch a few Youtube videos. I tried telling myself that only a few videos was acceptable, seeing as not much time was spent in the process (it was 10:20 AM in the morning). I watched a few ERBs (Epic Rap Battles) and got myself into a musical mood. Eventually I started to beat-box to myself again. Honestly, as bad as I sounded at the beginning, I thought I was getting better slowly. I mean, not all people are naturally good at the beginning. You gotta starts somewhere. I still need to be able to hum and make drum noises without making a slight split second pause between the hums and drum sounds. As I finished watching Youtube, making my promise to myself to only watch a few videos, I returned to Georgia Studies. We were learning mainly about the cult that formed after the Reconstruction act in Georgia when blacks were elected into the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. I think you guys know these people: the Ku Klux Klan otherwise known as the KKK.

What surprised me even more was the fact that the KKK actually started in Tennessee and then stayed in Georgia to threaten blacks. Even though I did not fancy the study of Georgia (I liked to study other states, countries, and continents), I did learn that a lot of things during the Civil War all the way to the Reconstruction act were helped and supported a lot by Georgia and its bordering states. Something new I learned. Once I finished reading about two LONG pages about the KKK and how they tried to prevent the blacks from voting for republicans, I went straight to the assessment. Unfortunately, I failed the test. Reason being was because the first two questions were about specifically WHO was part of the House of Representatives or the U.S. Senate when there were SO many complicated names mentioned, I did not know what to pick. So I picked randomly. The other questions were correctly answered, except for the first two questions, which pissed me off a little bit. But no matter, I was still to have a positive Decemburrr feeling/mood.

After Georgia Studies I focused on my Math, since that was the last subject for the day (I love it when there are only 4 subjects in one day). It was a hard lesson, lemme tell you, but then my logic started kicking in again and I followed EXACTLY by the rules of how I was supposed to do the math formula in this lesson. They asked questions like:

“Jimmy works as a barber for $4.31 per hour during the afternoon shift, while in the evening shift he worked $7.12 per hour as a bar tender. One day Jimmy worked 53 hours in one week and earned a total of $318.35 in that week. How much did hours for each shift during that week did he work for?”

This is how I worked it out, or how they taught me to work it out, step by step:

H x $4.31 + (53 – h) x $7.12 = $318.35

$4.31h + $7.12(53 – h) = $318.35

$4.31h + $377.36 – $7.12h = $318.35

-$2.81h + $377.36 = $318.35

-$2.81h + $377.36 – $377.36 = $318.35 – $377.36

-$2.81h = -$59.01

-$2.81h/-$2.81h = -$59.01/-$2.81h

H = 21

So that means that Jimmy worked 21 hours as a barber and then 32 hours as a bartender!

Long equation, right? But it surely gets the answers correct. Unfortunately, another fate was destined for me. I failed the test because the last two questions out of 5 questions were asking which job spent this many hours. Now that I already knew the hours, I needed to place them at the right job. I didn’t, so that’s why I failed. I did the test again and passed. I guess I didn’t COMPLETELY know the lesson, but I did know 95% of it. xD After that, Math was done and so was school, so I had decided to go outside in the decent climate it was in and do some parkour and climbing. I did so by practicing climbing over the backyard fence and into the front yard porch which stood about 10 feet above the ground, so if I fell down with the condition my ankle and knee had been for the past two weeks, I probably would have fractured my leg. Fortunately, though, I was careful of where I clung my fingers onto so that if I used my muscles to support me up and therefore pushing my weight downwards it wouldn’t fall on me. It was a good exercise for my muscles and I got to breath a lot of Nature’s air. 🙂

Once I went back into the backyard through the fence back down the front yard porch, my father came outside and start questioning me about me climbing around the fences. I said it’s a practice for the skin on my hands to toughen up. Then he started acting sensitive and said “Why do you want to toughen your hands? You’re gonna get blisters!” Blah blah. I returned the questions with a true answer. I loved climbing outside and toughening my finger skin was gonna be a good exercise and advancement to my climbing skills. He stormed back inside the house and out my mother came. She gave me a lecture about how I needed to go brush my teeth, wash my face, put some zit ointment allover my face (because I forgot to), and then as I walked away into the house she questioned me again with:

“What did I say, Andrew?”

“Brush my teeth, wash my face, and then put zit ointment on.” I said rather lazily.

“Nope.” she said.

I widened my eyes, thinking she was messing with me. “I just said everything you told me to do.”

“No you got everything right EXCEPT for the fact that you need to check with me once you had the zit ointment done.”

I was pissed off and I wanted to say that she did not say that, because clearly I could remember it and hear what she was saying. But saying she never said that would get my mother pissed off as well, so I just said yes m’a’m and went to do the activities as told. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put the zit ointment on. After that, it was sort of funny because I was Skyping my friends during the day and about all of them wanted to video call me and I was like:

“Heck no! I’ve got all of this on my face.” xD

Once 10 minutes had passed and I felt that zit ointment was starting to dry, I went downstairs to my mother, checked with her, and then washed my face. Surprisingly enough, my face was not clear, but it was SO soft. I could not remember any other time I could feel the difference of how soft my face was. Though there were red spots on my cheeks from the hot water washing the ointment off, I still was happy with my soft cheeks and so was my mother. We both were happy, until I had informed specifically my father that I was done with school and my father and mother chipped in and told me the worst news to hear from a k12 parent. I had a Scantron to do today and then afterwards I had to do school with Anabelle. Cause apparently my mother is TOO busy watching the TV that she makes me do some school with Anabelle. I can’t complain though: she makes us GOOD food, I actually learn a lot of things from teaching Anabelle, and plus I always liked to teach Anabelle, as long as she was getting the lesson. The moment she would NOT get the lesson and tried to joke around and not pay attention I would get pissed off at her.

So I did my Scantron and on the bright side: while I was half-ass doing it, I still felt like I was gonna make a good grade and that it was pretty quick. If you are wondering what Scantron I did, it was Math. And if you are wondering  what a Scantron is you can ask me in the comments cause I don’t feel like explaining it in the post. As the day proceeded it got better. I listened to some filthy dubstep on Pandora, then did school with Anabelle, and then watched a nice, funny (actually hilarious I should say), heart-warming Christmas movie called, I think, Christmas Vacation. It was a good movie. What made it better was the fact that it made my father laugh and it put a smile on our faces. I think that my mother and I were the ones who laughed the most, though. xD Then afterwards, the day ended swell and I went to bed! So wherever you are in the world, just remember to stay positive for this month. Try to stay positive and be happy this month. For me! I bet it’ll work and make you happy! Anyway, thanks for reading! Bye!

It’s Decemburrrrrrr :D

Hey guys, Andrew here, bringing you a new post! This is not a post about my day, though. It’s sort of a happy announcement to most of the people in U.S.A or anywhere else. If you live on Planet Earth, then you probably know it’s December. The month of Christmas, and, in which, the month of snowing. Well, that’s not really the case for me in Georgia, but it probably is the case for others. Unfortunately, Georgia’s pretty close to equator, so we don’t get snow on Christmas month, unless it’s a rare occasion. Luckily, though, I can enjoy the snow here on my blog. If you stay on my blog for awhile, like 2 minutes, snow will start falling from the top of my blog. I guess that’ll keep me busy and occupied for now until it DOES start snowing in Georgia. Anyway, wherever you are, in the U.S.A or somewhere out there on Earth or an alien out there in the galaxy or in a far away galaxy, have a great December. I’ve already made my commitment to being positive this month. Do the same as a favor for me. Thanks for reading. Bye! Happy early Decemburrrr 😀

A Pretty Disappointing Sunday

Hey guys, in short, I’m gonna summarize this day. I don’t like ranting and I WAS going to rant, but unfortunately WordPress was too stupid and they did not save my draft. So here I go. Went to church, had a decent time with church mates. Put down a republican child because he was getting on my nerves. I don’t know why I added Republican before child, but I felt like I needed to. Left church and went to the house. Waited for my father to do his thing on TV. Played video games and sucked and raged at it. Left the video games. Then I played on the Wii a little bit and then listened to a little bit of music on my laptop. Afterwards my parents had informed me we were going to go to the Romanian church. So we did. I got to see Brian and followed him wherever with his friends until he told me to shoo away. Brian is a Romanian friend of mine, if you don’t know. Then soon enough we left and went home. Had a subway-like sandwich (hopefully they don’t accuse us of subway copyright, xD) and then went to bed. Simple and quite disappointing. XD

Twisted Ankle, But An Awesome Day!

Hey guys, Andrew here, bringing you another post of my daily life. I don’t want to say I’m completely back with the posts because whenever I say that I somehow manage to NOT be able to post. If I continue to post for another two weeks, then I’ll know we’re back in business. 😉 I was not able to get any pictures of the cookies I talked about in the last post, but I’ll try my best to do so. I should be offering some cookies and treats to my church mates, so that would pretty awesome. Anyway, back to the day.

Today seemed pretty interesting. A lot of things had happened. The majority of them were good and a portion of them were bad. I woke up, still thinking about the RYAP test assignment I had to have done (which I still have NOT done cause I can’t seem to get to it!), so I was immediately downed by the morning. So I went back to sleep, knowing there was not much things to be done. I slept for another hour or so and woke up feeling somewhat grouchy. I did not realize this until I walked downstairs, finding no milk in the refrigerator for the cereal and grunting very loud. My father said:

“What’s wrong with you? You sound like you just got slapped or something!”

And I was like: “I just woke up.”

“So?”

“I don’t know why, I’m just grouchy, sorry.”

And that’s how it went, or that’s how I faintly remember how it went. So I found some milk in the alternative refrigerator in the garage (we still have to move it. Lol.) and poured myself some milk with some nice animal crackers. God, you can’t go wrong with eating dem animal crackers. They are so good when dipped in milk and eaten like cereal with a spoon. I dare whoever is reading this to try it out. It should be worth your time. So as the day passed and the house was being cleaned by the Paladie family (which is my family [my last name is Paladie]), I found myself extremely bored. Eventually during the morning my brother had found out a way to get my mother to allow us to play video games before 12:00 PM, which usually is forbidden, unless we cleaned up our room. So Matthew got to play some Black Ops on the PS3 because he had already cleaned up the majority of the room including his bed. All that was left was my bed. So I cleaned it and afterwards I waited for my brother’s turn on the PS3 to end. My mother had sent me outside to go enjoy the nice air in which I yes and no. I do enjoy our new backyard. Plus the trees in the backyard are nice and long. You could see the high-way that leads to our neighborhood because the backyard trees are right on the fence that borders the high-way line.

I tried practicing on my monkey-parkour skills by doing a sort of monkey bar climb on this fence thing.. God .. I don’t know what to call it. But yeah, I did that for a little bit and my hands already began burning painfully from the wood pressuring against my skin. Reason behind it was because I hadn’t practiced climbing in mid-air when the only thing holding you up is your fore-arm muscles and hands. So to get a little more practice with less pain, I climbed the backyard trees and relaxed in them. I found a position that allowed me to lay my back against one of the main tree branches and then have my feet rest against the supporting branches. I stood there for almost half an hour, staring at the numerous amounts of heterogeneous cars passing the high-way. I could actually think my mind out a little bit, which was good.

Soon enough I became bored of just staring at the occupied streets for awhile and plus my legs could not support me any more, as they were getting tired as well. So I climbed down in a quick jump and had expected my game time to come up next. My assumption was correct. I played some Black Ops Online Multiplayer because I was slowly getting sick and tired of Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) constantly forcing me into an all out rage mode, in which I yelled at everyone around me that talked. Yes, I rage. We all do. Lol.

Once my time was up my mother had forced me to stay outside the whole day. I wanted to have my friend John Alexander come over but unfortunately he did answer my texts. So instead my mother convinced me of going to our neighbor, Sarah, a 14 year old teenager who went to the same middle school in the area (which was the one I’m going to), and ask her how was the school like. I was hesitant at first. Reason why: her two friends were over and were doing pose pictures (like the sluts on Facebook), and I did not find myself easy to talk to girls, especially in groups, unless I was in a really good, confident mood or if I knew them very well. So therefore, it took a lot of time for me to have the balls to do it. Most of the time I just tried to stay with my sister, Patricia, and act like I was doing something. Eventually, I became bored, and Sarah and her friends already went inside, therefore I did. When I went back inside, my mother demanded an explanation from me about why I did not talk to the girls. I said they went home, which proved to be a good explanation. But my mother said once the girls come back out I had to go make conversation.

At this point, I’m really annoyed with my mother. It’s only the first month we’ve been in this house. Not even a full month. She expects us to make conversation with ANYONE our age here in the area, which is only Sarah, so far. I mean, c’mon, give me a break! Let me settle into the house and relax. I wanted to tell my mother, but I assumed she would slap me into the next neighboring country of the USA. So I kept my mouth shut and stayed in my room. Eventually, my sister invited me into her room and we watched a little Wassabi Productions on Youtube. They always seemed to entertain me. As my sister and I laughed, we did not realize that girls were not coming back out. So we became suspicious. Eventually, my little brother, Matthew, actually had the balls to go and knock on the girls’ door and ask for them outside. They said later, and they meant it. In return when my mother asked again if I had done her task, I said no and lied that they were not coming back outside. In return, my mother yelled at my sister and I and told us we were both grounded. I was so frustrated then because it was so stupid how my mother HAD to worry about my socializing with other people. I have PLENTY of people to talk to. If I want to talk to someone I’ll do it. Gosh.

Eventually, later on, the girls came out and I began discussion. It was hard to start especially with her friends immediately looking at me when I spoke. But then Sarah was nice and she replied back to my question about me going to public school and what it was all about. What made it even better was the fact that the other girls chipped in and told me that the teachers were basically “b*tches and evil people”. Lol. As the discussion stretched so did the easiness of the conversation. It was so easy to talk to them. It was like I was already their friends, but I knew that once I saw them again it would probably be awkward again. Eventually we had fun watching some Youtube videos like Wassabi Productions and anything else that me and Patricia found entertaining. Once that was done my sister and I decided to take a walk. It was still around 4:00 PM. The sun was in the middle of the sky, so it was about mid-day. But instead of walking, my sister and I just then decided that we were going to take a tour around this new forest she said she saw and it was long. So we lied to my mother and father about the walk and pretended to walk past the houses that caused us to be out of father’s sight. We turned our heads around and peaked back at my parents house. My father was STILL loading things in the car into the garage. So in the right times and moments I signaled when was the right time for my sister and I to move toward a bush to conceal ourselves and get closer to our objective.

Soon enough, we passed to the forest without being seen and took a nice walk toward it. The landscape was amazing. There were even some slanted hills that appeared to be used for a paintball/airsoft war. As my sister and I walked we found a cool, mystical-like arch way as we made our way deeper into the forest. We passed by it with wow. Eventually we passed by many buildings bordering the forest and found as well a tall, cement wall that separated a house on a hill with the forest. It seemed impossible to climb, unless you were a giant. As my sister delved deeper into the forest, my sister began to worry and say we were not going to make it back. Staying positive, I told my sister we just had to go back in a straight-line and we would find our way. On our path into the forest, my sister and I came across a huge tree that had fallen ontop of a standing tree. It looked like one of those trees that were climbable if you clawed your way up. I tested it first because my sister was afraid. Without fear I continued forward until I felt that the tree could not hold me if I continued further. I invited my sister up the tree and we both relaxed our backs until we felt we could balance no longer on the tree. So my sister slid down with ease, since she was pretty close to the ground. Unfortunately I slid down and had accidentally fallen in a wrong position.

As I slid down the tree and then jumped off the side, I did not realize that there was a jagged root on the floor. Unfortunately, I stepped on it and my foot twisted in shock. My ankle was numb and in pain. My sister had widened her eyes, but I told her coolly, trying to pull of the “no-emotion” look:

“It’s fine, I just tripped. Let me relax my foot.”

And I did. For only about 5 minutes I relaxed my foot until the pain had lessened and calmed. It was still painful, but it was not too bad. It was ironic, though. I had given myself a BAD bruise (by jumping on accident into the edge of a brick wall) on my knee and then I twisted my ankle on the same leg. If I had my hip twisted, trust me, I would not be able to walk with my left leg. Fortunately, my left leg was my strongest leg. So I was able to push on forward.

Eventually, we climbed too far into the forest. How did we know? Because we could only see forest for miles. Luckily, my optimism saved us, and we went back in a straight line. How we knew we were going the right way? Because we passed by the same tree I fell off of and twisted my ankle. My ankle was sort of almost weak and I could have dragged it instead of going through the pain of using all my muscles properly to move it, but I was taught by my father that every time there was a muscle injury on your body you had to work on it in the proper way until it did not hurt anymore. It was worth it. My sister and I came back to the house, safely, besides the thorns that scratched across our legs on the way through the forest. My sister and I decided to go inside and relax. We watched some Two and a Half-Men, which was a first for us because our parents (mostly my mother) did not approve of that show. Though I always found it funny with its crude sexual humor. Once that was done, immediately afterwards, my father’s cell phone had started ringing. He did not know the phone number and had a strange “Who is this?” tone. Immediately I was interested in who was calling. Turns out my sister, Patricia, had signed up for a modeling audition and was given the information for her area. A little shocked, excited, and revolted, I gawked and was surprised.

My sister told me the reason she was doing it was because she could make a little extra money. The thought sunk into my head for awhile, until it was surprised with another thought. My parents were leaving the house for three hours. Which immediately meant, more available play time. I played some Guitar Hero 3 and then a little bit of Black Ops. Then my brother and I went to sleep. I also tested on the computer in the office room and found out it could play Minecraft on a decent frame rate. This time, instead of sleeping in my usual room, my brother and I slept in the basement for fun. It was comfortable plus I had the Wii downstairs to myself just encase I wanted it. I did not in the future, but it was an amazing, comfortable sleep time in the basement.

That was pretty much my Saturday. I think today was long and interesting, so if you got THIS far, then kudos to you. You are an awesome person and I thank you for it. Have a great day wherever you are! Bye!
